Ex-husband Goes Money Comes by Yvone Zabielski novel Chapter 491

Chapter 491 New Interrogation Begins

Late at night, only people in the Felton's house were busy.

Dewey helped get the ER doctor.

Jerry was covered in blood and seemed to be seriously injured. After

all, Jerry was hit on the skin, only injuring his flesh, not his bones or internal organs.

The doctor cleaned up all the blood with saline and applied the medication to Jerry. The serious wound was bandaged, and the anti-inflammatory pill was stuffed into Jerry's mouth when he was half-awake.

Even though Jerry was unconscious, Jerry never said anything that would harm himself.

After applying the medication, the doctor left.

Jennifer sat at Jerry's bedside and cried. Jennifer complained in a small voice, "Jerry, you just came back. Why did you do such a thing? Are you willing to sacrifice your life for Viola?"

Although Jennifer didn't know exactly what was going on, Viola had told Jennifer about what had happened on the top floor before, so Jennifer probably guessed why Jerry wanted to steal Dewey's key.

Jerry lay motionless on the bed in pain. Jerry weakly narrowed his phoenix eyes and turned his head to look at the curtain. Jerry pursed his lips and remained silent.

However, it was not entirely for Viola, Jerry had his own reasons.

Coming back this time, Jerry had something new that he wanted to try to get.

Seeing that Jerry was lost in thought, Jennifer continued crying.

Recently, too many things had happened. Ronian was moody. The number of times Jennifer cried was even more than the number of times in the past few years.

"Jennifer, go back and get some rest. I'm fine." Jerry closed his eyes tiredly with a pale face.

"Alright then. Jerry, you should go to sleep early. I will think of a way to help you. I will talk to Ronian for you."

After saying that worriedly, Jennifer left Jerry's bedroom.

Jerry's body hurt, and Jerry was exhausted. Jerry fell asleep in a daze.

A few hours later, just as the sun came up, Jerry was awakened by the bodyguards.

"It's time to get up. Mr. Ronian asked you to go to the garden."

Jerry felt a headache and opened his eyes in a daze. Jerry was so exhausted that he couldn't get up at all.

Jerry smiled in mockery.

Jerry had passed the test last night.

A new round of torture and interrogation had just begun. The two bodyguards saw that Jerry was awake, but Jerry had no intention of getting up. They went forward. They each stood on one side, picked Jerry up, and helped Jerry, who was still in his pajamas, downstairs.

There was a wound on Jerry's back, and every step Jerry took made him feel pain.

Jerry's room was on the second floor, and they soon went downstairs.

The bodyguards took Jerry all the way to the cobblestone path in the garden and pressed Jerry down to kneel on the ground.

The uneven little cobblestones hit Jerry's knees, causing him pain.

Jerry unconsciously bent over and fell to the ground. Jerry was forced to straighten his back by the bodyguard.

The bodyguard said, "Mr. Felton said that as long as you admit your mistake and tell him where you hid the things you stole, you

can get up."

Jerry said, "I didn't take anything."

Jerry clenched his fists and tried his best to straighten his back.

Under the supervision of the two bodyguards, Jerry kept his back straight while he was on his knees.

Two hours later, Jennifer got up, and the first thing Jennifer did

after changing her clothes was to go to Jerry's room to check on his

condition.

However, the door to Jerry's room was open. The room was empty,

and the bed had long been cold.

Jennifer grabbed the servant who passed by and quickly asked,

"Where is Jerry? Where did he go?"

"Mr. Felton seems to be in the garden."

Jennifer immediately ran downstairs. Just as Jennifer walked out of

the villa, she saw Jerry, who was kneeling in the garden with a pale

face and shaking.

Jennifer's eyes almost instantly turned red. Jennifer turned around and was about to go to Ronian and plead, but was stopped by

Dewey.

"It's useless to talk to Mr. Felton. Jerry lost the key and the things on the top floor. This is not a small matter. Mr. Felton won't let him

go if he can't catch the guy."

Jennifer looked at Jerry in the garden and felt bad for Jerry. Jennifer was at a loss. "Then what should I do? What should I do to make

Ronian let Jerry go?"

Dewey sighed and said, "Mr. Felton said that if Jerry doesn't speak

up, he will kneel in the garden until it is dark. Jerry is not allowed to eat or drink water. If Jerry doesn't speak up before it gets dark, he will get punished in the hall."

Jennifer looked at Dewey in shock. Jennifer was stunned by

Ronian's ruthlessness.
