Matt looked down at the color of the dinner plate. His expression was light. He didn't care what he said. Matt only raised his eyes and smiled at him after he finished. He was calm and said, "Mr.Raman always knows her temper, but I don't want to care so much, I want to know more about what she's thinking."
Didn't push her, didn't force her, didn't embarrass her. When she needed him, he would appear again and let her know he was still there. He believed she would see it.
Tyrone glanced at him and frowned slightly.
Undoubtedly, his insipid words came to the man's heart and in a moment he reminded him of the words of Karen Bach that day.
Her heart…… What's on her mind again?
What does she want he can't give?
He always buried this problem in his heart. When he saw Cathy, he would think of it and wanted to ask her, but he did not find the right opportunity.
……
In the hospital, Cathy woke up after a short sleep. These days she was like this, because she was worried about her father, and she would wake up suddenly when she fell asleep.
The light in front of her eyes was a bit dazzling and she looked around in a confused way.She rubbed her painful head and lifted the quilt and got out of bed.
It's quiet all around, and she don't know what time it is.
She fumbled to the bathroom and washed her face, and waked up a little. She scanned the time on the screen above her eyes before she realized it was more than one o'clock in the morning.
No wonder nobody in or out of the Inpatient Department.
She gathered up her clothes and went back. First, she went to her father's ward and her mother fell asleep in an empty bed beside him. She went over and covered their quilts and quietly stepped back. She accidentally bumped into someone behind her and quickly whispered apologies.
"I am sorry……"
"How did you wake up?"
The man suddenly made a sound and frightened her, she wake up and saw that it was Tyrone. Her face changed and she lowered her voice and asked, "Why are you still here?"
Was he didn't sleep in the middle of the night? He was Like a ghost and he was not afraid to frighten others in the hospital.
The man lifted his lips and said lightly, "I just finished some work and came up to see if you slept well."
Cathy's ears were hot, she lowered her head and closed the door. She went to her ward and asked, "Have you been in the hospital all the time?"
"I went out for a while in the middle."
Cathy's footsteps suddenly stopped and looked at him carefully and said, "I mean when my father had surgery, were you in there all the time?"
Was he in the hospital all day today? Was it because he didn't want to affect her mood that he didn't show up?
She rejected the idea as soon as it came out. She was not so narcissistic.
Tyrone looked at her lightly and did not lie, "Half of the time I was there. I came when Matt left."
Cathy stared at him and said, "Oh, I see."
She wondered if it was her illusion. When he mentioned Matt, his eyes were not very friendly.
She dared not speculate too much. She put aside her face and waved her hand and hurried, "It's so late, you can go back."
He returned to Chicago for such a long time, the company there is estimated to have done a mess, he said that he has no doubt about the work so far, so as not to add to their own sense of guilt,It was better not to see him again.
Tyrone looked at her with deep and quiet eyes and said, "You just woke up and probably won't be sleepy for the time being and you can accompany me down to have some supper."
Cathy, "……"
She stared at him for a few seconds, then she opened her mouth and said, "I'm not your mother, you even need someone to accompany you when you eat, I won't go."
