Ex-husband, Please Respect Yourself novel Chapter 62

Cathy stood up and nodded gratefully at the two men. "Thank you, Mr.Brown, Mr. Franklin, I'll go back first."

She ignored Tyrone directly. After she finished, she hurried out.

Breathing into the cool air outside, she was completely relieved, bowed her head and pressed her eyebrows heavily, exhausted.

In her three years in the workplace, she confronted with such a difficult situation for the first time. All of them had their own thoughts and plans which totally puzzled her.

After staying for a few seconds, she shook her head to threw away the worries. Then she found the car and went straight back to the hospital.

After staying one night at home, the next day, Mr.Brown didn’t look for her again. Cathy was finally able to stay in the hospital with ease.

Early in the morning, Matt came to the hospital. Cathy saw him and was a little shocked. "Why are you here today? Aren't you busy?"

"Not at all." The man smiled gently, put the breakfast on the bed, then nodded to Cathy’s mother, "Auntie, I'll take her over first."

Cathy's mother waved her hand. "Go ahead, I'll help you take care of Mila"

Cathy looked blankly at them, and before she could ask, Matt took her wrist and went out.

"Matt, you?"

In the corridor, Matt laughed as he walked along. "Your mom told me that you were going to have a pregnancy test today. But it was delayed yesterday. Her legs were inconvenient. I just have time. So I will accompany you."

Pregnan, pregnancy test?

Cathy blinked in confusion, and suddenly she gritted her teeth.

When did she plan to have a pregnancy test today?

Mom, I don't want you to sell your daughter like this.

She smiled stiffly. “I almost forgot, but it's okay not to check today. I can come back next week.”

If he accompanied her, the doctor must misunderstand.

"Now that we are here, why wait for next week? Let's go. I've already registered you online ahead of time. It won't waste too much time.”

"..."

Cathy totally could not refute the thoughtful arrangement.

Looking at him awkwardly for a few seconds, she nodded. "Alright, it may take a little time. If something comes up to you, you can tell me."

"OK."

They went to gynecology and obstetrics side by side.

Matt did not shy away from the whole inspection. He listened to the doctor's explanation more carefully than she did. Naturally, he was mistaken for the father of the child. Several times, Cathy wanted to explain but she was interrupted by the doctor, and finally she could only look at Matt in embarrassment.
