Ex-husband, Please Respect Yourself novel Chapter 97

Cathy was voiceless. She was too depressed that even her eyebrows and eyes were upset.

She didn't know that he had prepared for long for her father's case. She called him before but he was too busy. She thought he never paid attention to it.

The lift reached the ground floor. Cathy stroked her eyebrows while she was getting out from the lift and said with a low voice,"Thank you."

There was no one near so she said seriously," If Mr. Jones could help, it counts on you this time but you don't have to follow me back."

He stayed with her these days in the hospital. He was too busy even worked through the nights. How could the company have nothing to work with now? She didn't ignore the anxious face of the secretary a while back.

Let bygones be bygones, she was not a unreasonable person. She would be thankful if he helps. She owed him a lot of favour these two days anyway. She could not pay him if she owes too much.

Tyrone knew that his position was awkward but he still felt uncomfortable that she was excluding him like this. His sight turned to deep as a old well, cold as a pond in autumn," Cathy, I told you, you never owe me. The case should be solved before we are divorced. As for if I'm going back, I will go tomorrow if not today. I have to deal with my mother about the kids. I don't have much time to play around."

Cathy's sight became colder when she remembered Tyrone's mother.

She could not bother with those things next few days. She would be unchained if Tyrone goes to deal with her mother and Marian.

She thought about those for a few seconds then she walked out without saying anything.

They passed the lobby. The receptions and the securities were stupefied when they saw Cathy and Tyrone returned again for not long. They greeted," Mr. Raman."

Both of them walked very fast and did not bothered each other.

The three receptions blew up their mind again. One of them even took a picture with her phone.

"Well...Why the president left the company after he was just arrived? Even leaving without Secretary Haywood."

"They seemed to be in rush... Do you think Mr. Raman was chasing the woman in the front?"
