Chapter 563 I Worry About You Too
Upon hearing this, Aletta nodded silently, but she couldn’t help but sigh inwardly.
When would they be able to live a peaceful life?
These endless matters kept piling up, one after another.
Meanwhile, in the presidential suite of a five–star hotel, Countess was enjoying her bath in a lavish bathtub.
The bathroom door was ajar, allowing the sound of water to be clearly heard from outside.
Panther stood outside the door, catching a glimpse of her back.
She had smooth and rounded shoulders, with a pair of faintly visible shoulder blades–the sight was alluring.
However, he dared not entertain any unnecessary thoughts and quickly lowered his head to report, “Madam, although the situation with Jenny has caused some commotion, Jason and Aletta have not had a falling out due to the DNA mismatch.”
“Are the other family members aware of this situation?” Countess listened and slightly opened her eyes, her tone carrying a hint of dissatisfaction.
Panther immediately responded, “They are aware, but Jay rarely interferes in Jason’s affairs. Aletta was always cherished by Old Mr. Hill and Jason trusts her implicitly. The chances of sowing discord.
between them are slim! Furthermore, we have discovered that Jason is already looking for Joe. They are capable enough to find us soon, although I have erased our traces before.”
Countess fell silent for a while, exuding an icy aura.
Panther didn’t dare to take a breath at all.
After a moment, he heard Countess speak, devoid of any emotions, “Do they trust her that much?”
She casually brushed aside the strands of hair hanging by her ear and calmly said, “Let’s go abroad… Jason has returned, and we can’t stay here for too long.”
Panther complied, “I’ll book the flight for tomorrow morning.”
Countess, however, said indifferently, “No need to rush. Let’s think of a plan… and meet Jenny once again!”
She stood up slowly from the bathtub as she finished speaking, causing water to splash around.
The faint heat lingered on her immaculate body.
Her voice seemed to come from within the mist, carrying a hint of unreality, “I will personally handle the hypnosis this time.”
Upon hearing this, Panther’s heart skipped a beat, and a flicker of fear flashed in his eyes.
Others might not be aware of Countess’s abilities, but as her bodyguard, he knew her second identity–a professional hypnotist.
Her skills were more terrifying than an ordinary hypnotist. Jenny would never wake up again in her lifetime if Countess intervened. She would forever be the puppet of Countess.
Panther responded without a delay, “I will figure it out.”
That night, at Hill Villa, Aletta couldn’t sleep soundly.
When she was helping Jason with his tie the next morning, there were faint dark circles under her eyes, and fatigue was evident on her face.
Seeing this, Jason knew the reason after seeing this.
He couldn’t help but gaze at Aletta with distress and said, “Didn’t I tell you not to worry?”
Aletta looked up at him and said, “I can’t help it. It’s about you and the children. How can I not worry…”
Jason felt somewhat helpless. He raised his hand and gently touched her cheek, asking in a gentle voice, “Will the remaining test results be available this afternoon?”
Aletta thought for a moment and truthfully replied, “If nothing unexpected happens, they should be available tonight. After all, there are many tests to be conducted, and the verification process was meticulous.”
Jason responded with a thoughtful “Hmm” and continued coaxing, “Rest a little more before you go to the research institute in the afternoon. Good girl.”
Hearing his gentle tone, Aletta couldn’t bear to refuse and nodded, saying, “Okay, I’ll listen to you.”
Jason didn’t believe she would truly listen. He grasped her wrist firmly and said, “Come along with me to the office after breakfast.”
Go to the office?
Aletta looked at him with confusion.
Jason furrowed his brows and said, “I want to personally keep an eye
on you while you sleep! Your body hasn’t fully recovered. Your
expression is not good, and you seem like you will faint at any moment.”
He gazed deeply into Aletta’s eyes and said, “Darling, while you worry about us, I worry about you too!”
Aletta blushed at being called “darling.”
Unable to say anything, she could only agree, “Then I’ll listen to you.”
She followed Jason to the office after breakfast.
As soon as they entered the office, he led her to the resting room and pressed her onto the bed.
His tone was firm as he instructed her, “Now, start sleeping!”
Aletta obediently lay down, covered herself with a blanket, and looked at him, asking, “Okay, Mr. Hill.”
Jason’s lips curled up, he lowered his head, and rested his forehead against hers, speaking warmly, “Hmm, have a good sleep. I’ll be accompanying you through everything, even if the sky falls. Hmm?”
Aletta looked at his serious expression and smiled, “Okay…”
She closed her eyes, and his familiar and comforting scent filled her
nostrils.
Soon, she drifted off to sleep.
Jason went outside to handle his work with peace of mind after confirming that she was asleep.
He cancelled the meeting he had planned and rescheduled it for the next morning.
He stayed in the office, at Aletta’s side…
