Expert Down The Mountain Chapter 31
“Hmm, you’re awesome, Mr. Kace! It’s my first time being fully healed within such a short time!”
“It’s good that you’ve recovered.” Kayson did not pay too much attention to Easton but returned to his seat.
Noticing that Kayson did not seem to be in a good mood, Easton asked curiously, “Mr. Kace, did something displease you?” Kayson was about to speak when the woman who had informed them about the meeting yesterday showed up at the door.
“The team leader of The Tetrad, please attend the meeting in Boardroom 3!”
“Meeting again?” Easton was momentarily stunned, but he said soon afterward, “It will be better if you go, Mr. Kace.” “That’s kind of inappropriate, right?” “It’s not inappropriate!” Easton hastily said, “You’re the leader of The Tetrad, and I’ll punish whoever dares to object!”
At the thought of the solemn ambiance in the car on the way to the company, Kayson felt that it was indeed necessary for him to find out the situation.
In the boardroom… Miles made a fuss instantly once the people had all gathered. “I hope that you can give me a proper explanation, Ms. Wolfenden!” .. Miles pulled a long face and growled, “I couldn’t sleep well all night long yesterday! “A few of the projects we’re supposed to receive final payment are suddenly reported to have quality issues. What the heck is going on, Ms. Wolfenden!?”
Sadie’s expression was filled with anger. Her grandfather and father had returned to the company to manage the situation in the middle of the night yesterday because Archer notified the other quality inspectors to reject a few of their projects that had passed previously!
“Ms. Wolfenden, this is not a small matter because a few projects have gone wrong too! You must solve this situation as soon as possible! River chimed in and said, “Otherwise, even our human resources department will be affected when we’re hiring!”
“That’s right, Ms. Wolfenden. The situation is affecting more than just the payment. The company’s reputation is in danger!” The leaders of different departments spoke in succession. Some were doing it as a favor to Miles, while some were genuinely concerned about the company.
A look of mockery flashed past Miles’ eyes before he said furiously, “I heard that Ms. Wolfenden met up with Mr. Gustin for dinner yesterday night. I believe that you did it to solve the issue of Petrichor Park, right?
“Yet, such a serious matter happened on the same night. Could it be that you have not only failed to solve the issue of Petrichor Park, but you have also offended Mr. Gustin?”
