Chapter 211 Stop messing around, lie down with me for a while.
Couldn’t get out?
I paused, suddenly unsure of how to respond. Couldn’t he come out?
Why?
Was it just a two-year sham marriage, why couldn’t I get out of it? Because of that innocent child? Or was it because I once saved him, he felt guilty, so he couldn’t leave?
Taking a deep breath, I felt much calmer and said to him, “You will get through this. You are so outstanding. In the future, when you meet someone you truly love, you can start a new family. The things that happened in the past are just a small part of your life, and perhaps they won’t even be worth mentioning in the future.”
I didn’t force comfort on him, I just knew it was the truth. We were both still young, and we would meet new people and start new lives in the future.
Compared to the past marriage where we both settled for each other, it seems more promising now that we have separated and are each seeking a new future. I knew that I would still like someone new in the future, and I also knew that he would form a family with a new woman in the future.
He looked at me, a sudden sneer breaking out on his handsome face. His hands, gripping my shoulders, tightened. His voice was low and restrained, “Not worth mentioning? In your eyes, this marriage is not worth mentioning?”
Seeing his emotional agitation, I furrowed my brows, attempting to shake off his hand, retreating and saying, “Things that have already passed…uh!”
His kiss was too sudden. He pulled me into his arms, pressing me against his chest. For a moment, his strong scent of alcohol filled my mouth and nose, accompanied by his dominant aura.
“Uh…” I struggled, trying to push him away, but he held me even tighter.
The disparity in strength between men and women was evident as he held me tightly. His mouth almost completely covered mine, and I could feel his wet, soft tongue becoming increasingly bold. A knot formed in my heart, and I wanted to bite him, but he preempted me by kissing me even deeper.
The struggle to the death, he had almost sucked away all my oxygen. My brain went blank for a moment. In just a few seconds, I thought I would suffocate to death. Fortunately, he still had some humanity and gave me a chance to breathe.
In the moment I enjoyed the fresh air, I pushed him away abruptly.
“Bang!”
“Hiss!”
As two sounds rang out, I froze, quickly lifting my eyes to look over. I saw Walter clutching the back of his head, his face twisted together somewhat due to the pain.
I realized too late that I had pushed him too hard, causing him to crash
into the door frame.
“You’re okay…” I had just started to ask about his condition,
He was seen retracting his hand from the back of his head and placing it in front of his eyes. His slender, fair fingers were shockingly stained with bright red blood.
Seeing the blood, I momentarily forgot my anger, pulling him and saying, “You’re bleeding, let me see.
Saying this, I didn’t wait for him to respond. I tiptoed to check the back
of his head, but before I could see the wound, the man who was significantly taller than me collapsed directly onto me.
“Ah…”
