“Kiley, what’s wrong with you? Why do you look so awful?”

Kiley forced out a smile, “I’m fine, just been working a lot recently, a bit tired.”

With a look of concern, Ruby said, “Work is never–ending, your health is the most important thing. Don’t wear yourself out.”

Kiley nodded, her tone somewhat perfunctory, “Hmm, I’m going back first.”

“Good.”

After Kiley left, Ruby slowly walked into the bathroom. After touching up her makeup, she slowly raised a smile in the mirror.

Whether it was Kiley or Briana, they were just stepping stones in her life.

A few minutes later, Ruby returned to the venue. After sitting down next to Valerie, a faint smile curled up at the corner of her mouth.

Ruby kept her head down the whole time, looking shy.

Valerie glanced at the silent Mallory and Kiley beside her, feeling smug. In the past, Kiley always overshadowed Ruby. Now that Kiley had caused such a big scandal, there was no chance she could be compared to Ruby anymore.

Her face was full of smiles as she said, “Ruby is still young, and young people nowadays are not the same as in our time. They all like free love. We are old now, we can’t control it anymore.”

“Haha, true, but we can arrange for an introduction another day.”

Several people were engaged in a heated discussion when the large screen that had been displaying Ruby’s experiences over the years suddenly went black. It lit up again shortly after, but this time it wasn’t showing Ruby’s experiences, but a dimly lit video.
