She turned her head toward Grace. “Just now, was that playing hard to get? You are quite resourceful.” 

Grace took a deep breath, not wanting to engage with her, and turned to walk away.

Furious, Emily blocked her path. “You stop right there! Did I say you could leave? How dare you!” 

Grace frowned. “Miss, I don’t know you. Why should I listen to you?”

“I said I don’t know you. Move out of my way!”
