Falling For My Contractual Wife (Brian and Grace) novel Chapter 628

Carson glanced at Ian. His intuition told him that Ian was not simple. He was definitely not as innocent as he looked. Still, Carson nodded politely. "Thanks."

Grace was tired. She yawned and said, "Let's go in. Get him a room. I'm hungry and sleepy."

"Thanks, Grace," Ian said.

After getting a room, they went to the hotel restaurant for dinner. During the meal, Carson talked to Grace about work. "Carson, do we still want to discuss the business deal with Damir?"

Grace snorted. "Discuss my ass. The company has no foresight and no courtesy. If it weren't for my friend, I'd have splashed coffee on his assistant that night."

Carson nodded slowly, feeling regretful.

After a while, Grace's phone suddenly rang. She glanced at it and frowned. "Why is it him?"

"What's wrong, Grace?" Carson asked.

"It's Mike Jankins," Grace told Carson before answering the phone and politely asked Mike what was up.

However, Grace did not expect Mike to be more polite than her. He even sounded like he was trying to please her. "Hello, Miss Sherman. Are you still in Merion?"

"I'm preparing to return to home tomorrow. What's the matter?" Grace asked lightly. Mike's attitude was so humble and had changed so much. She could guess Mike wanted.

"Miss Sherman, it's like this. Our boss has seen your proposal and thinks it's excellent. Hopefully, we can discuss the collaboration in detail tomorrow. If it delays your return, we will help pay for the plane tickets," Mike said.

Grace was silent for a while. She looked up at Carson and replied, "Tell your boss thanks."

"It's only right. Which hotel are you staying at? I'll arrange for a driver to pick you up tomorrow," Mike asked.
