Jasmine was coming downstairs with the first aid kit when he heard the conversation.
She took a deep breath and slammed the first aid kit on the table. "Why are you apologizing? This has nothing to do with you!"
Jasmine walked to Nelson and said, "You saved my granddaughter, so I'm very grateful to you. It's Brian's fault for suspecting you."
She turned to look at Casper. "Their fight is between the two of them. It has nothing to do with Grace."
Casper yelled, "Even you're protecting this woman! Are you all siding with this outsider? Look at what Brian did! If I don't come back, this family will only be thrown into chaos by him and this woman!"
Jasmine bit her lip. She was so angry that her chest heaved violently. She thought, 'If Casper had not brought Nelson back, there would not have been so much trouble!'
Casper was in a fit of anger. In the end, Jasmine did not say these words.
Casper's words became more and more unpleasant. Grace clenched her fists tightly.
She lowered her eyes and did not show her expression. Then, she slowly turned around and walked into the dining room.
Austin had already finished her meal and was so tired that she fell asleep.
Tears welled up in Grace's eyes. She walked over and gently picked her up.
Her shoulder was hurting badly. She endured the pain and carried Austin to the living room. "Mom, Austin and I will move out for now."
Jasmine said, "Grace..."
"Mom, it might be safer for Austin to be with me," Grace interrupted Jasmine.
When Grace passed by Brian, he held her hand. However, he knew in his heart that he could not keep her this time. "I'll go with you."
When the car arrived at Grace's building, Grace turned to look at Nelson and asked directly, "Did you do this?"
Nelson was stunned. He met her gaze and suddenly chuckled. "Grace, even you suspect me. It seems that you still love Brian the most. You believe his words without a doubt."
"Nelson, do you think I can still trust you now? You've fought with Brian so many times. What do you want?" There was disappointment in Grace's eyes.
Nelson pursed his lips and his expression became serious. "Grace, I admit that I'm jealous of everything Brian has, but Austin is your daughter. How can I do anything to hurt her and you?
"Previously, when I helped you deal with Louise Adkins, some of my methods were indeed a little despicable. However, I did those things to clear all the obstacles for you."
Grace stared into his eyes, as if guessing how true his words were.
Nelson then asked, "Why would I do that?"
