Grace sobbed uncontrollably as she hugged Austin's small body.

Her tears wetted Austin's clothes. Austin looked up at Grace and said calmly, "Mom, don't cry."

Grace covered her mouth and nodded vigorously, wiping her tears away.

She hugged her tightly and asked gently, "Baby, Mommy will get Nelson to buy you breakfast, okay? What do you want to eat?"

Austin stopped talking again, but her stomach growled.

Nelson said, "I'll go buy breakfast."

Grace said, "Thank you."

When Nelson bought the cereal, Grace was telling a story with Austin in her arms.

Her voice was very gentle, but Austin was as wooden as a puppet.

Nelson frowned and placed the breakfast he bought in front of Austin. He asked gently, "Austin, what do you want to eat?"

Austin did not move. She leaned against Grace weakly.

Grace endured the pain in her heart and fed cereal to Austin's mouth.

Austin still wanted to eat, but her actions were very mechanical as if she had no soul.

Grace could not help but cry again.

She was afraid that Austin would see it, so she raised her head and tried her best to force the tears back into her eyes.

After feeding Austin, Grace could no longer control herself. She put down the bowl and ran out of the ward.

"Get lost!" Brian pushed him hard.

Nelson was pushed against the wall on the other side. His body hit the wall and made a dull sound.

Brian pulled Grace up from the ground. "Is Austin hospitalized?"

"Shut up!" Brian growled coldly. "Nelson, I'm warning you, stay away from my woman and my child!"

Nelson sneered. "Have you forgotten that Grace has nothing to do with you now?"

Brian narrowed his eyes. "We'll remarry sooner or later. Even if we don't, it's not your place to take care of her!"

Grace's brain hurt. She pushed Brian away, composed herself, and entered the ward.
