Sharon raised her hand and waved in front of him. "Brian? Brian?"
Brian looked up at her slowly. He seemed to be annoyed by her. He lowered his eyes and frowned slightly.
Brian tried to pour himself another glass, but it was all poured onto the table.
Sharon revealed a complacent smile. She reached out and pressed Brian's hand down. "Brian, you're drunk," she said.
Brian pushed her away and mumbled, "Go away!"
He poured all the alcohol in the bottle onto the table. He shook the bottle and saw no more in it, so he threw it aside.
Then, he picked up the glass on the table and sipped, but it was empty.
Frustrated, he tossed his glass to the floor, stood up, and staggered to the washroom.
Sharon got up and followed.
When Brian left the washroom, his footsteps were unsteady. He tripped over something and fell to the ground.
Sharon hurried over to help him up. "Are you alright?"
Brian had lost all his strength from the fall and could not stand up as hard as he tried.
Sharon was overjoyed. She called a waiter over and carried Brian to her car together. She took Brian to her apartment.
"Gracey..."
Sharon heard a vague murmur.
"What did you say?" Sharon asked.
Brian was talking to himself, and his words were so vague that they were almost impossible to hear. Only the "Gracey" was exceptionally affectionate. Sharon heard it very clearly.
Sharon's face darkened. "So it's because of love. This woman called Gracey doesn't know how lucky she is."
She smiled again and gently stroked Brian's face with her fingers. "But it doesn't matter. I'll be here with you and help you forget about that woman."
Sharon placed Brian on the bed. Looking at his handsome face, she involuntarily swallowed.
Just as she unbuttoned a button, Brian suddenly opened his eyes.
Sharon was surprised. "You-you're awake."
But Brian pushed her away forcefully.
He stood bolt up. "What are you doing?"
He looked around, and his expression turned grim. "Who asked you to bring me here?"
Sharon's face and the strong perfume in the room disgusted Brian.
He could not stay a moment longer. "I don't want to see you again!"
With that, he opened the door and strode away, leaving Sharon grinding her lips furiously.
