Daisy hurriedly followed behind Grace and asked, "I'm talking to you! What should your father and I do if you take all the money to treat Austin? What about your brother?"

Grace ignored Daisy and quickened her pace.

"Grace! You idiot! If you don't ask Brian for money, I'll!" Daisy shouted behind her.

Grace stopped and turned to look at Daisy.

A few seconds later, Grace suddenly realized something. She approached Daisy and asked, "Did you go gambling again?"

Daisy did not expect that coming. Her eyes panicked. "I-I didn't. What gambling? I didn't ask you for money."

"Yeah, you didn't. Now that Austin is sick, your last bit of conscience won't allow you to ask me for money, so you want to ask Brian for it. Am I right?" Grace said.

Grace hit the nail on the head. Daisy straightened her back and wanted to appear self-righteous. "I didn't gamble! Brian is Austin's father. Shouldn't he pay for her medical expenses? I'm helping you, for heaven's sake!"

"You don't have to worry about the medical expenses. Just remember not to meddle in my business. Go home," Grace coldly ordered Daisy to leave and pushed Austin into the elevator.

Daisy stomped her feet in anger and cursed before leaving the hospital.

Not long after they returned to the ward, Brian came.

He had brought some soup with him. Grace thought he must have asked the maids to make it.

"Gracey, have some soup with Austin. I'll settle the discharge procedures," Brian said.

Grace turned her head to look at him. Her gaze was as indifferent as if she was looking at a stranger. "The discharge procedures? What for?"

Brian said, "I asked the doctor just now. Austin can go home and recuperate. The medicine can help control it. When the child is born, the bone marrow—"
