Falling For My Contractual Wife (Brian and Grace) novel Chapter 775

Facing a face that was 80% similar to Louise's, coupled with the mess in the company, Grace couldn't bring herself to smile.

She walked to the chair and sat down. Then, she turned her head to look at Alicia and said in a businesslike manner, "Top Group will compensate the Francis Group for your losses this time."

Alicia smiled and said, "Miss Sherman, you've misunderstood. I'm not here to denounce you today, nor am I here to ask you for compensation. You've been friends with Mr. Francis for so many years. Why would Mr. Francis hit you when you're down?"

Grace looked at her and waited for her to continue.

Alicia took a sip of coffee and smiled. "I know I look like an old friend of yours and make you feel a little uncomfortable, but looks are innate. I can't help it. Or should I get plastic surgery?" She said this half-jokingly, making Grace feel a little embarrassed.

Grace lowered her head and smiled. "Miss Pearson, you must be joking. I won't transfer my feelings for others to irrelevant people."

She didn't like her purely because of some previous unpleasantness at work.

Alicia nodded. "That's good. I quite like you. The first time I met you, I felt like we hit it off at first sight."

Grace didn't say anything. She felt she was not close enough to Alicia to chat so much nonsense.

"Well, I came here today to help you solve the problem of your client's privacy leak," said Alicia.

Alicia talked about her previous company. Due to a loophole in the system, they had leaked the client's privacy several times. She had dealt with similar situations many times.

The remedy she proposed could maximize the losses and assist Grace. That afternoon, Grace almost finished dealing with this tricky matter.

Grace's opinion of Alicia gradually changed. To thank her, Grace invited her to dinner.
