In the evening, Jalen drove Elaina to the door of the Gainsford’s manor.

"Be careful. Call me if you need me. I'll be at the door." Considering his current status, Jalen was not supposed to follow Elaina in. All he could do was wait at the door.

When Elaina, who opened the car door, heard this, she quickly turned to look at him. 'There's no need. Don't stress out too much. After all, that man is my biological father. I'm sure that I can stay safe and alive."

Elaina felt selfish about asking a busy person like Jalen to wait for her here.

"Okay. You're right." Jalen nodded yes, but he had no intention of leaving.

Elaina couldn't bear to turn him down flat, so she continued, "Go do your work. You don't have to waste time here. If there's anything happening, I'll call you and you can come back."

"Okay." In the end, Jalen agreed.

Elaina walked to the manor. Peter should have informed all the servants in advance, so when she arrived at the door, a servant led her in.

Jalen sat in the car and watched Elaina until her figure disappeared in the distance. Then he looked up at the manor not far away.
