Chapter 213 A Green-Eyed Monster
When Norah Chase arrived here, Shawn Lawson was lying under a tree with his eyes closed.
"Can you tell me where it hurts? Let me have a look." However, Shawn kept his eyes closed.
Norah asked him again, "Can you tell me where it hurts? Please. Does the wound open up? Does it hurt?"
Shawn kept silent.
He had no response.
Pursing her lips, Norah eventually shut up without asking any more questions.
In the end, Shawn couldn't resist talking with her. He opened his eyes again, looking at Norah sadly. He said in a particularly aggrieved voice, "I thought you would never care about me."
"Of course, I care about you."
"But I coughed badly just now. The wound was so painful that I yelled, but you didn't come over to take a look." Shawn said in an injured tone.
"But I come to you now."
"No. It's different. You have healed Flag's wounds before remembering mine."
"I have treated your wound before going to see him. You know, he was badly injured. It’s more serious than yours. He needs aid in time. Anyway, I can’t be distracted at this crucial time.” Norah said.
Shawn turned his head and snorted coldly, "In the end, you think Flag is more important than me. He ranks first, and I will rank behind him."
"No. I never say that." Norah spread her hands.
"But that's what you did."
Norah was speechless.
This was slander. She would never do so.
"His name is Matthew O'flagen. I don't think you should call him Flag. It's not polite anyway." Norah said.
As he heard her words, Shawn looked more sullen.
He became even more restless.
Shawn leaned against the tree with his eyes closed and didn't want to look at Norah. He said angrily, "Anyway, what I see is that you only care about him, and don't care about me at all."
"Norah, you piss me off."
Beside Shawn, John tried his best to hold back his laughter.
If he hadn't endured it desperately, he would have laughed out a long time ago.
"Hey, this trip out was really worth it." He thought. Otherwise, how could he appreciate Mr. Lawson's wonderful performance?
Norah stood by, thought for a while, and asked, "Does your wound still hurt?"
"No," Shawn said.
"Well." Norah nodded.
Then she said, "They have already left. We'd better go down as soon as possible. The bullets on your body should be taken out as soon as possible."
"No. It's just a bullet, and it won't hurt me." Shawn said childishly.
Norah was confused.
She didn't know what was wrong with this man because everything was normal just now.
He changed so quickly, which confused her.
What she did was just treating the wound for Mat.
Wait... Thinking of something, Norah suddenly hooked her lips, and a beautiful smile appeared on the corner of her mouth.
She got the reason. Shawn was jealous.
She had been worried about their wounds but ignored his emotion. Although their wounds weren't deadly, they were bad for their health.
As long as the bullet was not taken out yet, she would be very worried about their health.
However, she didn't expect Shawn would be sad because she ignored him.
With a smile on her face, Norah stepped forward and shouted in a crisp voice, "Shawn, open your eyes. Open your eyes quickly. Are you ignoring me?"
Well, Shawn was still sitting still like an ice sculpture.
He didn't even move.
Tilting her head and thinking for a while, Norah picked a long leaf on the ground and put it on Shawn's face to scratch him gently.
