Chapter 249 She Was Saved and Awake

Seeing Shawn, Norah blinked hard. She almost thought she was seeing things wrong.

Then, she opened her eyes again. Her eyes were moist. Her lips were trembling.

She thought she was dead.

She did not expect to be alive and open her eyes to see the world again.

Shawn looked at Lucas and asked, "How is she?"

"She's out of danger, but she's fragile. She needs a good rest."

Shawn said, "Go in and take a bath. When you feel warm, I'll carry you out again."

Norah compromised and said, "Okay then. You carry me out. But promise me you'll keep your eyes closed. You can't peek at me."
