Chapter 95 I'll Sleep with You

Norah raised her head in shock. She smiled exultantly and asked, "So, you agree?"

She was really surprised. Shawn kept a straight face since he got on the car. So, she didn't expect him to agree with her.

"I'm afraid you can't rest assured and won't go home if I don't agree."

Shawn opened the car door and took two umbrellas in the trunk.

He opened one of the umbrellas, and then handed the other to Norah, "Go and bring him the umbrella. I'll wait for you here."

"Thank you!" Norah was truly appreciating him at that moment.

Matthew had saved her several times. If she didn't say goodbye to him today, she would be really guilty.

Because of the strong wind and rain, the umbrella in Norah's hand was blown inside out. Moreover, she was wearing Shawn's long coat, so she walked very slowly for every step.

Matthew stood up and walked to her when she was getting close to him.

"Why do you come back since it is raining so hard? Go home early to rest!" it showed great concern and thoughtfulness in his voice.

Norah handed him the umbrella in her hand.

She looked at the car that was ready to pick him up near them, "Although there is someone bringing you an umbrella and you may not need it, I want to show my gratefulness in this way. No matter whether you need it or not, I want to give it to you."

"Okay. I accept it. Thanks."

Norah glanced at Melisa who was following closely. She said after hesitating for a while, "I want to talk to you alone."

Matthew turned to look at Melisa, "Go and wait for me in the car."

"No, I'll wait for you here." Melisa quickly held Matthew's arm acting like a spoiled child.

Matthew pulled his arm free and got Melisa close to him. He said carefully, "Melisa, don't be self-willed. I'll be there in a while."

Melisa pouted to show her dissatisfaction.

But soon, she seemed to think of something and immediately smirked, "Jin said that you might fall in love, but I don't believe it. It seems that it's true. You love her, don't you?"

"Stop fussing. Go and wait for me in the car."

"I could tell you love her. I have never seen you are so gentle and careful with any girl. You always refused the girls without mercy who chased you."

"Alright. Go back to the car."

After getting Melisa back into the car, Matthew walked towards Norah again.

"Sorry to keep you waiting."

"It doesn't matter."

Norah organized what she wanted to say inwardly. She then said, "Mat, I'm sorry. Shawn almost hurt you just now. I'm awfully sorry."

She continued, "I haven't introduced him to you yet. He is Shawn, my husband."

Although Matthew knew who he was, it still hurt him when she told him in person who he was.

Matthew thought he would be calm when being told the truth. But he still minded it when hearing it.

"Could you tell me how long you've been married?"

"Two years, " Norah pretended to smile and said, "The couple who have been married for two years are supposed to be deeply affectionate. But we seem to be..."

Norah forced the smile on her face, "Maybe it's a little different from what everyone thinks about marriage. I love him very much, but he loves someone else. So, our relationship seems to be awkward."

"Does he know you are pregnant?" Matthew asked.
