Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 30

Chapter 30

Estelle looked up, raised her eyebrows, “You know love? Why would you say that?”

“Look at her, smiling like a fool!” Henson snorted

Estelle walked upstairs. “The essence of love is to make people happy.”

Henson snorted again, “Then I won’t fall in love in the future, and neither should you.”

Estelle was puzzled, “Why shouldn’t I?”

Henson confidently said, “If you become an idiot, how will you teach me?”

Estelle looked at him expressionlessly. “Do you know what your uncle said to me that afternoon?”

Henson asked curiously, “What did my uncle say?”

“Your uncle said that my intelligence level is now as low as yours!” Estelle sneered and walked past him.

Henson was stunned, and quickly caught up, “My uncle couldn’t possibly say that!”

The one-and-a-half-hour class quickly passed by, and as Estelle packed up her things and headed downstairs, she saw Jonathan sitting on the couch.

Remembering the previous incident, she felt a little embarrassed, so she pretended not to see him and thought about sneaking away.

But Henson, who was following her, suddenly spoke up, “Ms. Macclain, this afternoon my uncle and I are going to the Equestrian Center, you should come too.”

Estelle hesitated, and Jonathan looked up as expected. He put down his phone, walked over, and said softly,” Is the class over?”

“Yes!” Estelle smiled and nodded.

Henson repeated, “Uncle, can Ms. Macclain come with us?”

Estelle declined, “No need, you guys go ahead!”

Jonathan, as handsome as ever, said, “If you have nothing else to do this afternoon, come with us. I have a meeting at the Equestrian Center, and Henson will have no one to keep him company.”

With Jonathan saying that, Estelle couldn’t say anything else and agreed with a nod.
