Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 627

Chapter 627

Emily was so upset that she raised her hand to slap the man in the face.

But the slap didn’t land on the guy’s face, her arm stopped mid-air, her hand trembling, slowly clenching. With red eyes and tears rolling, she was filled with anger and

sadness

‘Charlie, I know I owe you, but you can’t bully me like this!”

Emily’s face was pale, her voice choked and hoarse, before she got up and ran toward her bedroom.

She slammed the door shut, leaned against it and squatted down.

She had always thought of him as her mountain. Standing at the foot of the mountain, she could only look up and never climb to the top to stand side by side with him.

He was also the one she carefully kept in her heart, with becoming friends with him being her happiest thing.

Cause only as friends could she stay calm with him and not envy his endless parade of girlfriends.

But today, he ruined her faith, destroyed the friendship that was so important to her!

They could no longer live in peace, chat, eat, or be friends anymore.

She was heartbroken, feeling like she lost something important, never to be found again.

She hugged her legs with both arms, buried her head in her arms, and cried her heart out.

After a long time, she heard her phone vibrate in her pocket. She took it out and saw Charlie’s message [Sorry]

With teary eyes, Emily stared blankly at the words, motionless until the phone screen dimmed and went dark.

She got up, opened the door, and went out. The living room was empty with only the floor lamp still on, Charlie had already left.

The autumn rain added a touch of melancholy.

It rained for three days, so the crew could only shoot Indoor scenes.

When the weather cleared up, everyone breathed a sigh of relief, feeling their mood brightened

Today’s scene was Hattie arguing with the male lead’s sister in the garden, but the actress who played the sister was absent due to a fever caused by the rain.

It was a replaceable role, no need to wait for that actress.

Hattie rested at the side, waiting for the director to arrange for another actress to put on makeup

Yvonne read the script casually and sald with a smile, “In the script, Adler’s sister is very beautiful. I think Estelle might be a good fit.”

Hattie’s eyes lit up and chimed in, “Now that you’ve mentioned it, Estelle might be perfect for this role. Let me go talk to subdirector Malcom.” Hattie went to find Malcom, and upon hearing what she said, he called Estelle over.
