Estelle’s expression turned serious, and she put down the script. “Well, you should just find someone else. I’m not an actor in the first place, so I have no obligation to fill in.” 

The assistant director widened his eyes. “Which department are you from, how dare you being so cocky?” 

“I’m an assistant at Snowy Studios, Estelle said softly. 

The assistant director sneered. Well, aren’t you full of yourself! We don’t need you, there are plenty of people who’d love to play the part” 

Estelle didn’t bother arguing and just turned and left. 

The assistant director found another young girl, but when Hattie saw her, she flat out refused. “No way, I think Estelle is perfect for the role. She should play it.” 

The assistant director frowned. “Hattie, it’s Estelle who doesn’t want to play. Besides, it’s just a small role that only appear on this scene. It’s all the same to anyone!* 

Hattie looked at the assistant director. “In Mr. Mayfield’s films, every character has to fit the role. Mr. Mayfield isn’t here today, is that why you just want to slack off?” 

The assistant director’s face was displeased. It doesn’t matter if a small supporting role fit the character or not. He thought Hattie was just making trouble on purpose! 

Hattie wasn’t a big deal in his eyes, but because of Malloy, he didn’t dare to offend her either. 

He asked, “does it have to be Estelle playing the part?” 

Hattie nodded. ‘Absolutely!”

With no choice, the assistant director went to Estelle again, apologized, and kindly invited her to fill in temporarily. 

Estelle asked puzzledly, “Why do I have to fill in?” 

The assistant director said, “It’s Hattie’s request, saying that you’re the most suitable for the role. Look, you’ll act in this scene, and we’ll pay you 2000 Euros as a reward. Is that okay?”

He finished and yelled at the makeup artist, “Get Estelle’s makeup done and change her clothes, We’ll start shooting immediately. All departments get ready!” 

Estelle was taken to the back makeup room to get her makeup and change. 

“She’s the male lead’s half-sister, and she’s a student!” The stylist said while instructing her assistant, “Bring over a school uniform. 

Since Estelle had great looks and the role was of a student, she didn’t need much makeup. She just tied her hair into a ponytail and changed her clothes, and she was good to go. 

The scene took place on the wooden walkway by the water in the Decker family’s backyard. Estelle was wearing very thin clothes, while Hattie wore a retro dress with a white sweater on top. 

In this scene, Hattie’s character, Sonya, is discovered by Adler’s sister Lacey to be Rachel’s sister. 

Estelle had only one line, facing the camera sideways, with her innocent voice like a little girl, “You’re not Rachel, you’re Sonya!” 

In the script, Sonya slaps Lacey and orders her not to reveal the truth, or else she’ll kill her. 

As they finished their lines, Hattie reached out to hit Estelle 

Her eyes were filled with viciousness, and she used all her strength to slap Estelle in the face. 

But before she could touch Estelle’s face, Estelle suddenly grabbed her wrist, twisted it with force, and threw her into the lake. 

“Ah!” Hattie screamed and struggled in the water with her hands and feet. 

The other staff members were stunned. 

“Somebody fell into the water!” 

“Quick, come save her!” 

“Hattie is in the water!”
