Lucas got off of Bert. He looked at Alivia next to him with his big eyes and said very politely, "Hello, Ms. Graves~"
Everyone liked such a well-behaved, sensible, and sweet child. Alivia smiled and said, "Hello, handsome boy."
Grace looked over and found that the girl was at least much younger than them. She was only in her twenties and had a gentle face. She didn't look like a scheming person.
She had never had much interest in strangers, but it was the first time for her to see a woman who could get close to Bert, so she couldn't help taking a few more glances at her.
The four of them took their seats, and there was an indescribable awkwardness between them. Fortunately, Lucas and Bert's interaction was very intimate, so it wasn't so difficult to interact with each other.
Grace didn't have a deep relationship with Bert. She only met him because of what had happened to Evelyn, so she couldn't say much.
Seeing that it was noon, Lucy called to ask if she would come back with Lucas. Grace looked at the happy face of the child and couldn't bear it. "He won't go back this noon and evening. It's not easy for Lucas to have fun. Let him play for a while."
The child followed Grace, and Lucy felt relieved and didn't say much.
"You can go back in the afternoon. Leave the child to me." Bert was not polite at all. Seeing that the coffee was almost finished, he directly asked her to leave.
This action made Grace want to roll her eyes. "Ha-ha, are you sure you can take good care of him?"
"I've been watching him since he was born. Is there a problem?"
