"No, I'll be upset if you delay me," Marcellus said, waving his hand. "Hurry up and leave."
The two of them could see that he was not planning to introduce them formally, so they were a bit puzzled. They exchanged glances, and the taller one among them spoke, "Strange, always showing off your affection on social media but not letting us see it in person."
"Next time." Marcellus became even more impatient. "Hurry up and leave, don't bother us."
Seeing his firm attitude, the group didn't insist further and teased for a bit before leaving the private room.
In an instant, the noisy room immediately returned to tranquility. After closing the door, he released his hand from supporting her head and muttered under his breath, "These guys are so annoying."
Beryl raised her hand to fix her hair on top of her head, feeling a bit bewildered. "Why were you pressing my head?"
Didn't he want to introduce her to his friends?
Or did he think she didn't look appropriate in her current appearance?
Marcellus paused with the utensils in his hand and then placed them back down. His narrow eyes gazed at her, revealing a deep and heart-racing expression. "Why are you thinking about all sorts of random reasons?"
Beryl looked back at him, feeling a bit indignant. "Aren't they true? You were pressing my head with your hand."
"Your face was turning red just now. Can I let others see?"
"Huh?" Beryl almost didn't react. How did it become about her...
However, he shamelessly said, "Only I can see how my woman's face turns red. No one else is allowed to even think about it."
Beryl was speechless.
She suddenly understood why he had been acting strangely just now. She could understand that when couples were in love, they would involuntarily care about each other.
But possessing someone to this extent was rare.
