Chapter 287 Using Force
Evelyn knew he wouldn’t, but she had heard enough of it. What she wanted was a straightforward answer, not a guess. Her trust and enthusiasm were declining.
“I don’t know,” she leaned against the cold wall behind her,
raising her hand to cover her face. “When you’re far away
from me, it makes me feel distant and unreachable. I really can’t understand you anymore…”
He was so outstanding, so good that wherever he stood, even
if he did nothing, he would become the center of attention.
While she, on the other hand, was just an ordinary, plain
person who had been divorced. As long as he became distant,
she would lose all confidence.
“Evelyn, look at me.” Huston pulled her hand away and
pinched her chin with his index finger and thumb, forcing her
to look straight at him. “No matter what you think, don’t force
me like this, okay?”
What he didn’t want to see the most was the scene in the bar.
He would rather see her complain and lose her temper than
see her humiliate herself.
Hearing this, Evelyn suddenly chuckled, tears welling up in her
eyes. “I’m forcing you? If I had known that loving you would be so painful, I wish I hadn’t fallen in love with you.”
Her words were calm, but it was as if a bomb had exploded in the air. Huston looked at the woman in front of him in disbelief and even thought he was hallucinating.
“What did you say?” His deep and magnetic voice trembled
slightly.
When Evelyn saw the pain in his eyes, she was stunned. “If loving you is so painful, I would rather… hmm!”
Before she could finish her words, Huston’s passionate kiss had already fallen in a hurry, swallowing all her unfinished words. He was not gentle at all. He kissed her hard on her lips and knocked his teeth on the corner of her mouth, making Evelyn cry out in pain.
His flexible tongue pried open her teeth and barged in, swallowing all her breathing like a tsunami in the middle of the night.
A passionate and intense deep kiss left Evelyn breathless multiple times, her hands resting helplessly on Huston’s chest. Even through the fabric of his clothes, she could feel the heat radiating from his body.
“Huston…don’t…” Evelyn stuttered, unable to finish her
sentence.
The man acted as if he didn’t hear her and left before she
could suffocate. His forehead was pressed against hers, and
his hot breath fell on her face. “You would rather not love me?
Do you regret it?”
Like a shallow fish, Evelyn gasped for breath desperately, and
his gloomy face awakened half of her drunkenness.
His deep eyes were like the hawk’s eyes in the dark night,
gleaming with an eerie, sharp, piercing coldness. “Evelyn, you
must love me.”
