Chapter 398 He’s Relieved to Give Her to Someone Else 

After hanging up the phone, Mia went upstairs to her room. She was waiting for him to come home. Why should she wait? Mia was sure that he would come back. Every time she did this before, he would come back to her nervously. This time, it must be the same. 

Mia sat on the bed in a daze for a long time until the sound of the car engine being turned off came from the yard. Mia immediately put on her slippers and rushed out of the room. 

Mia quickly walked to the corner of the stairs on the second floor. Just then, the door of the villa was opened by Sadie. A black figure came in. When his expectant eyes met the person, they instantly cooled down. 

Why was Brad? 

Mia frowned in disappointment. The excitement that had filled her heart just now was now condensed in her heart. She was stunned. 

“Why are you here?” 

Brad looked over and walked straight to her. He looked at her several times and breathed a sigh of relief after making sure that she was fine. He explained, “Mr. Lloyd asked me to come over.” 

Mia was stunned for a moment and asked uncertainly, “Huston?” 

Brad nodded. “Yes.” 

Mia blinked her eyes a few times and rolled them slowly into the room. Thinking of her ridiculous expectations just now, she smiled as if she was mocking herself. She didn’t expect that Huston would trust someone else with her! 

Mia bit her lower lip hard and gathered a huge amount of resentment around her. Ignoring Brad, she turned around, walked into the room, and slammed the door.

Brad took a step back and knocked on the door. “Open the door, Miss Klein.”

Sadie nodded. “That’s the only way.” 

Over on the other side, forty minutes had passed when Huston finished his work and went upstairs. Sam stayed behind to take care of the last things. He couldn’t wait to return to the room. The little person on the sofa hadn’t fallen asleep yet.
