A warm current flowed through Evelyn's heart. She squatted down and caught the baby's body. "Don't run. Be careful not to fall."
After working for so long, Evelyn had never brought the child to her workplace. Ken looked at the child in confusion. "Who is he?"
Evelyn took the child's hand and stood up. "My son, Lucas Shelton."
"Lucas Shelton?" Ken sounded a little cute. He bent down and said, "Hello, Lucas."
The little boy also greeted him with a smile. Lucas was so cute that people couldn't take their eyes off him.
Bert was unhappy to see the man hugging her, so he let Lucas out and was ready to let Evelyn get in the car quickly. Unexpectedly, she began to chat with someone.
Bert took off his sunglasses and threw them on the passenger seat. He opened the door and walked over slowly. He said with obvious grumble, "Haven't you finished talking yet?"
Evelyn glanced sideways at him, stunned when she saw what he was wearing today. Bert had always been meticulous in his suit, but he only wore a shirt today without a tie. The two buttons were unbuttoned, revealing his sexy collarbones. The hem of his shirt was tucked into his pants, and his straight legs looked even more powerful under the iron of his trousers.
Where did he go to have fun?
Evelyn was a little surprised. Bert caught the expression in her eyes and raised his hand to fiddle with his hair. "I returned from a business trip and came out after showering."
The implication was that he didn't have time to clean himself up.
Evelyn glanced at his messy hair. To put it bluntly, it was a little messy and sexy.
Evelyn nodded. "Thank you for picking me up."
