"But Lucas..."
Before Evelyn could finish her words, she was interrupted by Bert. "There is a safety seat."
At this point, Evelyn couldn't insist. After getting off the plane today, he came to pick her up. She had to follow his wishes.
After instructing Lucas, Evelyn sat in the passenger seat.
Lucas watched his mommy walk away and reluctantly pouted. "Uncle, you're so annoying! You always want to occupy Mommy. Mommy is mine!"
Bert glanced coldly at the child in the rearview mirror. "Without me, where would you be?"
Evelyn fastened her seatbelt and looked speechlessly at the two bickering. She touched her ears and found that they were shameless. The old one is not tolerant, and the young one is not humble.
In particular, Bert looked like he minded it.
Evelyn sighed helplessly, raised her hand to poke his waist, and whispered, "How old are you? Can't you give in a little and argue with him?"
Before the man could speak, the child in the back seat heard his mother's words and knew she was on his side. He felt a little embarrassed and said, "That's right. Uncle, how can you hold it against me? I'm still young. You're an adult. You can't bully me."
"I bullied you?" Bert muttered, "I've been so good to you."
Despite what Evelyn said, when she heard what Lucas said, she still had to educate him. She turned to look at Lucas and said, "Lucas, don't talk back to Uncle."
Bert loved Lucas dearly. It is love. Initially, she didn't have much income from her work and could barely make a living. She couldn't meet the material needs of the child at all. He prepared everything for Lucas. He sent different things to her every day. They were all the best.
