Finding Love in the Boss’s Embrace After Divorce novel Chapter 702

Chapter 702 Unintentional Words that Tug at the Heart

Seeing his dilemma, Huston raised his hand and gently tapped his head, “Don’t worry, I will take you there, and no one dares to neglect you. Let’s go watch a movie together.”

When it came to movies, Lucas was obviously excited, “Really?”

“Yes, of course.”

Lucas lowered his head and picked at his fingers, but couldn’t resist the longing in his heart, “Well, okay, let’s go together.”

His wish fulfilled, Huston smiled knowingly. Nothing compared to the exhilaration he felt

now, not to mention billions of dollars in business

transactions.

After about fifteen minutes, a waiter pushed a trolley into the room and placed the dishes from the trolley onto the table one by one. The light-colored drawers of the dim sum cart were opened, revealing

beautifully presented and exquisite dishes. The aroma filled the private room, a testament to the skilled hands of the chef. The colors, fragrances, and flavors were truly extraordinary.

Lucas was experiencing such dishes for the first time, and his eyes were wide open with amazement. Huston picked up a piece of shrimp dumpling and placed it on his plate. He watched as the child obediently used his knife and fork to put it in front of his mouth, even remembering to blow on it before eating. There was no need for Huston to urge or coax him, as the child was capable of feeding himself, well-behaved, and easy to care for.

Huston watched with affection in his heart. Fate had been kind to him, allowing him to meet such a woman in his lifetime. Even after he made mistakes, she was willing to bear children for him, a blessing that many people longed for.

Noticing his gaze, Lucas looked up in confusion. Huston was afraid that the child might glimpse the emotions in his eyes, so he quickly averted his gaze and continued to carefully arrange the dishes.

Lucas finished one dish and Huston promptly handed him another one, without interruption. Huston himself didn’t eat too much, as he was focused on watching Lucas the whole time.

Lucas couldn’t help reminding Huston, “You should eat too. I can handle it by myself.”

He knew that the child’s words didn’t carry any deep meaning, but still, his eyes turned red when he heard them.

Being a 37-year-old man, he had experienced all sorts of trials and tribulations, yet it was in matters concerning Evelyn and the child that he felt deeply moved. A single sentence could make him drop his guard and behave like a young man in his twenties.

But what did it matter?

He had a son, a son who cared about him. That alone made him happy and excited.

The meal was enjoyed in a harmonious atmosphere. Lucas made every effort to eat each dish, but Huston had ordered too much, and there was a lot left over

Looking at the wide variety of snacks on the table, many of them barely touched, Lucas nudged the man beside him. “Mr. Lloyd.”

“What’s wrong?”

“We have a lot left, let’s pack them up.” Lucas pointed to the small pastries on the table, blinking his innocent eyes.
