They found a nice spot and she placed the blanket down. Then, Benjamin sat the boys in front of him, so she could sit beside him.

“So what have you two been up to this morning? Benjamin asked, making the boys babble back at him.

“You’ve still got it,” she muttered, having no idea how he could get them to interact so quickly with him every time.

“It’s a gift,” he boasted before turning his attention back to the boys Really, boys, that sounds fun. So mommy sang to you, what else did she do today?”

Pandora rolled her eyes, not even questioning how he knew she was singing to the boys. She started to set out their lunch as Benjamin and the boys had their talk.

“How was your morning?” he asked as they began to eat.

“It was productive but busy. I was able to give the house a good cleaning while they had a morning nap. I am going to go shopping before heading back home, so if there’s anything you need let me… she trailed off.

He smiled at her for a few seconds before replying. “There’s nothing can think of. Is Maisey still coming by today to take measurements for your dress?”

Forgetting herself for a few seconds, she groaned but tried hard to cover it with a cough. “Uh, yeah, I believe so.”

Benjamin sat up straighter and looked at her as if he was about to panic. “I know that I haven’t been a good husband over these last few months, and I’ve pretty much been neglectful of your feelings and needs, but please, baby, tell me you’re not having second thoughts?”

She shook her head, but as the panic stayed on his face, she leaned over and kissed him hard. “I love you, Benjamin, no second thoughts,” she whispered softly to him.

“Then what’s with the groan?” he asked.

“I still…” she cut herself off. “I am still…” she tried again but stopped and waved her hand down at her body.

“Sweetheart,” Benjamin called and she shook her head.

“I know, I know, it’s not a big deal, and it’s not like I was thin to start with, but I just… I feel gross.”

“You’re sexy,” Benjamin told her.

“You haven’t seen me naked since Vegas,” she replied.

“Is that t?” he asked.

She swallowed. “Sort of… Benjamin, my body is different now.”

“I know. You had two babies growing inside of you,” he stated and she rolled her eyes at his smart answer.

“Yeah and now I have stretch marks, my boobs are huge, and my clothes size is a ten. I was an eight before and nine out of ten times I didn’t feel sexy at all.”
