Five men were getting really fed up: “Today, none of you are slipping away! If you’ve got any sense, you’ll give up quietly, and we might make it painless for you!”
Flora shot them a cheeky grin and raised an eyebrow: “How about you guys kneel down, call me ‘daddy’, and I might leave you in one piece.”
Jacob and Carly nearly buckled, staring at Flora in disbelief. Where did she get the nerve to say something so audacious?
The men laughed at Flora’s boldness like they’d heard the funniest joke ever: “A woman who doesn’t even know basic martial arts, talking tough like this! Any one of us could take you down with a flick of a finger.”
“Youngest brother, you’re up.”
The shortest of the five nodded, a wicked glint in his eyes as he looked at Flora. This world champ was handsome enough...
Why not let him have a little fun first.
The man zipped towards them in a blink. Jacob, caught off guard, had no time to think and instinctively shoved Flora aside, stepping up himself!
“Overestimating yourself!”
The man sneered, aiming a powerful strike at Jacob’s chest! Jacob tried to backpedal, but the force was too strong, too fast. He was stuck, just watching the man close in…
Suddenly, something tight gripped his neck, a slender hand hooked onto his collar. Flora lifted him effortlessly, tossed him aside, and met the man’s strike with her own hand!
Boom!
Their palms collided, and the man went flying! He soared nearly thirty feet before slamming into the ground, leaving a deep crater.
He spat out blood, twitching on the ground, barely hanging on.
Silence settled over the scene. The men who’d been so cocky moments before were now gaping in shock.
“Flora, you…”
Jacob and Carly were frozen, still processing the whirlwind of action.
Flora nonchalantly rubbed her wrist, eyes gleaming with a wild edge: “Stay out of my way.”
She needed some practice anyway, and these guys were perfect as punching bags.
Jacob and Carly, still in shock, hurriedly backed away a few steps after hearing Flora’s command.
“All at once!”
The four men, no longer underestimating Flora, realized her strength from just that one move. They knew they couldn’t take her one-on-one, but maybe together, they’d have a shot.
