Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1281

"Who do you think you're messing with? Flora's like a sister to me, and you all should call her that too, alright? No funny nicknames."

The senior executives looked at each other in disbelief.

Calling a young girl "sister"? That was a stretch for them.

Only someone as laid-back as Corbyn could come up with something so outlandish.

Flora herself just shrugged, used to Corbyn's unconventional ways.

"Good day, everyone," she greeted, giving a slight nod.

"Seniors? Nah, just call me 'bro'," Corbyn said, full of confidence. "Calling us 'seniors' makes it sound like we're ancient."

"Corbyn, today’s a big day for the Medical Hall's assessments. Is it really appropriate to bring a young girl here?" one executive finally spoke up. "The assessment’s about to kick off. She needs to leave!"

"Flora’s here as one of the assessors I invited. Why should she leave?" Corbyn said, pulling out a chair for Flora.

"We thought you were joking around, but you’re actually serious!" said Scott, another executive known as Master Scott, slamming his hand on the table. "What makes this young girl qualified to be an assessor? You think this is some kind of joke?"

"I brought her here because she’s got the skills. I’ll show you," Corbyn replied with a frown.

These folks had been out of the loop, and he hadn’t had a chance to showcase Flora's talents. Once they saw what she could do, they’d change their tune.

"Sure, anyone you vouch for has to be talented, but she’s so young! How can she sit with us?" Scott grumbled. "Stop this nonsense and ask her to leave!"

"Leave? Flora stays put, she’s not going anywhere. If anyone's leaving, it’s you," Corbyn shot back, his temper rising.

He wasn’t about to let someone he invited just walk out.
