Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1313

"Alright," Connor nodded with a smile.

"As for the guest list, you two decide who you'd like to invite. Once you've nailed down the numbers, I'll arrange for the invitations," Raul paused, then added, "Oh, and make sure to invite the Roth family."

Flora gave a gentle nod, "Sure thing, Dad. Whatever you say."

"My little sister is tying the knot," Henrik sighed, gently patting Flora's head, his eyes filled with a mix of deep affection and a touch of reluctance. "Time really does fly."

Raul's face suddenly clouded over as if he remembered something unpleasant, and he shot Henrik a disapproving look. "You've got the nerve to talk."

"Your sister's getting hitched, and what about you? Why are you trailing behind? Are you even my son?"

Henrik was at a loss for words.

It wasn't that he didn't want to settle down.

It was Cecelia who wasn't ready yet.

Flora joked about wanting a few more years of fun just to tease Connor, but when Cecelia said it, she meant business.

Cecelia's career was soaring, and wedding plans with Henrik were still up in the air.

Henrik was feeling pretty down about it.

When would he finally be able to marry the love of his life?

...

After Raul and Amanda put their heads together, they decided on a wedding date: May 20th.

With two big names getting hitched, keeping it low-key was out of the question, even if they wanted to.

The invites for Flora and Connor's wedding weren't even out yet, but people were already flocking to Maple Grove.

The four major families of Lone Island, top guns from various industries across Austenberg, and folks from the Martial World, including the Gilbert family, Medical Hall, Enforcement Division, plus those from Empire Base and The Red Scorpions, all made a beeline for the place.

Maple Grove was buzzing with anxiety.
