Two groups were rushing towards Austenberg.

Meanwhile, inside the villa, Flora was sprawled on the couch, flipping through channels while munching on some chips. "Connor," she called out lazily, "Could you get me some water?"

Connor soon appeared from the kitchen, looking casual in a long shirt and pants, with a black apron tied around his waist and a glass of water in hand.

"Get up and drink," he said, giving her a playful pat. "You shouldn't be lying down watching TV; it's not good for your eyes or the baby."

Flora grinned, propping herself up with a cushion, and instead of taking the glass, she took a big sip straight from his hand. The water was warm and had a hint of sweetness.

Connor, still in his apron, spoke gently, "Here, put on this radiation protection gear; it's good for you and the little one. I've got your favorite chicken soup on the stove; it should be ready soon."

"Mmm," Flora nodded, admiring Connor's domestic charm. Unable to resist, she wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her face against his toned abs.

"Connor, you spoil me so much. What if I can't handle taking care of the baby?"

Connor treated her like a princess, always at her beck and call. Their friends Raul and Henrik often teased him about spoiling her rotten.

Connor stroked her hair softly, his touch impossibly tender, "Flora, mothers are the true heroes. Just being willing to have our child is a huge thing. As your husband, I'm thankful you're willing to take on this journey with me."

"Just focus on bringing our little one into the world. I'll handle the rest. Here, you'll always be my little girl. How can a child take care of another child? Leave it all to me, alright?"

Flora giggled, nuzzling closer to his chest, happiness radiating from her.

"Quit that..."

Her hands were restless, and so was her head. Connor's eyes darkened, his voice changing as he tried to control his emotions. "Flora, you're pregnant, maybe ease up on the teasing?"

She grinned mischievously, realizing what she was doing. "Connor, still so innocent, huh?"
