Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1741

After Fiona and her friends left, the whole affair finally fizzled out, but not without leaving a buzz in its wake.

The school field was abuzz with students, all caught up in the frenzy of sharing photos of Fiona sitting there, which were spreading like wildfire. The campus forums were lit up with chatter about her.

Her stunning beauty had everyone talking, and she was even being hailed as the "Nation's Rare Beauty" across various online platforms.

But Fiona? She couldn't care less. Fame and superficial titles didn't faze her, and she couldn't even be bothered to scroll through the posts.

The real kicker was that Fiona was supposed to perform at the freshman welcome event, yet she skipped it, leaving a lot of folks feeling duped.

Most had shown up just to catch a glimpse of her, and now they felt shortchanged when not only was she a no-show, but the whole program seemed like a sham.

"Why even bother signing up if you’re not going to perform? Is this all just a stunt to get attention?" one student grumbled.

"Beats me," another chimed in. "I saw her from the audience, and yeah, she's gorgeous with a killer figure. But with behavior like that? No thanks. If she doesn’t even care about her grades, what’s she good for?"

"Right? She got into Oxford University, who wouldn't want a bright future? Maybe with her looks, she doesn’t need our attention. There are plenty of rich kids who'd line up for her," a third added with a smirk.

They chuckled among themselves, gradually drifting away from the seating area until they stumbled right into Fiona and her crew backstage.

Their snide comments hadn't escaped Fiona's notice. If Fiona hadn't held Amy back, she might have already confronted those brazen folks.

Who did they think they were to speak about Fiona like that? Weren't they worried about ticking her off?
