Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1751

In high spirits, Jasmine sipped her fruit tea, her eyes casually settling on Fiona, who was lounging comfortably on the sofa, waving a hand as she directed the waiter.

“What are you just standing there for? Go lend a hand, would you?”

The waiter hesitated, clearly recognizing Jasmine's status. While she didn’t know who Fiona was, anyone hanging out with Jasmine had to be someone important.

Jasmine had zero patience for such sluggishness. Her demeanor turned frosty as she slammed her teacup down on the coffee table, glaring at the group. “What’s going on here? Are you disrespecting me, or is it just standard practice for your store to push its customers around?”

The waiter quickly approached, leaning in to whisper to Jasmine, “Ms. Bryant, it's not that we’re unwilling to let the lady try on the dress. It's just that Ms. Jane already reserved it, and our hands are tied.”

Hearing this, Jasmine’s expression grew even colder, her displeasure evident.

“Why didn’t you mention this earlier?”

She shot a sharp look at the waiter. If she’d known Jane had reserved the dress, she wouldn’t have let Fiona try it on; the very thought was aggravating.

Standing up, Jasmine walked over to Fiona, gently taking the dress from her hands. “Fiona, let’s pick out something else. This dress is spoken for by Jane. It’s not cool to take someone else’s reservation.”

Fiona was unfazed, not particularly bothered by any of it. She nodded, allowing Jasmine to reclaim the dress. While she admired its look, it wasn’t worth causing a fuss over someone else’s reservation, especially when it wasn't a must-have for her.
