Julian squinted unpleasantly and noticed that she was struggling. He instinctively tightened his arm and strode into the bedroom.
Sadie was carried by him and placed into the bed. When she was awake, she opened her eyes in a daze.
"Did you have a nightmare?" Julian held her tightly and kissed her forehead gently. "Don't be afraid, I am here."
Sadie was dumbfounded for a while. When she was fully awake, she blinked and muttered, "You are back?"
Julian nodded, rolled over, and lay aside. Then he reached out to take her into his arms. "What dream did you have?"
Sadie was tense and shook her head. "The sequel of the roller coaster ride."
She dreamed of a weird fat man who kept making her drink and also dreamed that he tried to touch her. And then there was blood on the man's face. He looked as if he wanted to fight her desperately, so she suddenly woke up.
"You little coward." Julian kissed her hair gently, knowing she didn't want to talk about it, so he didn't force her. He hugged her for a while, then let go of her, and got up to take a shower.
After turning on the shower, he glanced at the sink and pressed his lips unconsciously.
The moment he just went back to City A, Cayden came over. It could be seen that what a scene that fake Sadie had made in the house.
And he was sure that Cayden had received some news. Otherwise, he would not deliberately propose to spend the night at ZSB Garden.
Unfortunately, after he and Sadie went out, Amina cleaned up Sadie's things and sent them to the cabinet in the attic upstairs.
Cayden didn't find the evidence, so he lived in the house for one night and returned to City A in a rage.
According to Khalid, the assistant going with him was scolded fiercely.
Thinking of this, he raised his eyebrows, turned off the shower, and took the bath towels from the towel rack. Then he wrapped it around his waist casually and opened the door with a hairdryer in his hand.
Sadie hadn't slept yet. Seeing him come out like this, she was obviously startled.
Didn't he just wash his hair in the morning? Why did he wash it again? She wondered if he wanted her to help him dry his hair as she saw him like that.
Just thinking about it, she heard him say, "Get up and help me dry my hair."
Sadie was silent, biting her lip and slowly getting up from the bed. She reached out to take over the hairdryer he was handing.
Julian looked down and saw that her cheeks seemed to flush again. He looked around and sat down on the head of the bed.
Sadie plugged the hairdryer in, turned on the hot air, and helped him blow his hair clumsily.
His hair was short. As the hot wind blowing, the cold in the room seemed to disappear.
The hotel's bath towels were standard size. Probably because he was too tall and the towel was wrapped low, she dare not look down or look randomly.
After drying for a while, Julian suddenly stretched out his hand, held her waist without warning, and led her forward. He was smiling cheerfully, "Come closer. How can you dry it if you are far away?"
Sadie was frightened, her back sweating. And her hands holding the hairdryer were shaking. But he didn't seem to realize how intimate this posture was.
He split his legs, sitting there masculinely with a calm expression. The hands that fell on her waist didn't intend to withdraw.
Sadie blushed, trying to move away from him a bit, but he closed his legs deliberately to trap her.
"Sadie..." Julian called her hoarsely. His warm and thick palms slid down and landed on her curvy hips. He took away the hairdryer with the other hand, turned off the power, and forced her to sit on his lap.
"It's okay. Let's sleep." Sadie's forehead was sweating profusely, and her heart was pounding.
Julian raised his head and looked at her profile with a smile.
