Me and my brothers have spent the morning working. Alesandro admitted to fixing games to ensure someone won, but we can’t figure out who. The name he gave was fake, so it means someone is there he is working with. 

We never found out what Alesandro wanted the money for. I guess because Demitri went too far and he died before being able to answer all our questions. 

“Hey, Troy messaged, check the group chat.” I look up hearing Calix, wondering why Troy would message. Walking towards them I open the messages then stop. My eyes on the picture of Daisy sitting in a cafe looking for too comfortable with a guy. 

“He said he asked her and she said no rules were set for if a guy asked 

her out.” 

“I didn’t think we would need rules. I assumed she would say no!” We were wrong clearly, we had all said she would say no because of us, but she said yes. 

“So we visiting her?” Demitri smiles and I nod. 

“Sure, let’s go date crash.” I laugh and get on the bike, I follow behind them, and we stand outside the cafe. I watch her through the window and she looks happy, free but that isn’t good. Demitri is looking jealous and he shouldn’t kill the dude when he had no idea. 

I watch as Demitri walks in, Alex laughing and stroking Daisy’s hand. Demitri reaches them first and Alex freezes.

“Hello, little birdie.” Demitri speaks and I watch as Daisy looks up at 

him and smiles. 

“Hi. Demitri. This is Alex.” Daisy points to Alex and I laugh. 

“I know him. What happened to shopping?” Demitri looks at her and we move next to him, her eyes on us all. 

“I did it, then bought a few books. Alex helped me as I was lost.” 

“You had Troy to help you.” I speak now, and she nods. 

“Yes, but considering Alex owns the shop and he struggled to help, I doubt Troy would have been much help.” Maybe she is right. 

“I should get back and open.” Alex stands and Demitri pushes him back into his seat taking the one next to him. Calix moving and sitting on the other side. 

“What was your plan puddin? Bring him back and sneak him into your room?” Calix looks at her and she laughs. 

“No plan Calix, I agreed to have lunch, in no way was that me saying come home and fuck me.” She looks at him confused. 

“So you don’t like him in that way cub?” I look at her and sit down. 

“I didn’t say that. Can you let him go please?” She looks at us waiting. 

“Why little birdie? Do you like him?” Demitri leans forward.

“Wasn’t picking, just wondered what his plan was.” Demitri now turns

to Alex. “Before you say nothing, backtrack or anything else, had we not walked in, what was your next move?” Demitri looks smug. 

“I was about to ask her out for a real meal tonight.” Alex sits up, and I admire that he is honest. 

“And now?” Demitri looks at him, It’s a trick question, so I hope he gets it right. 

“Still going to.” Shit, I laugh and so does Calix. 

“Well little birdie? What is your answer?” Demitri looks at Daisy and she looks stuck. Either answer isn’t good right now. 

“Yes.” I stare at her, it isn’t happening. 

“Okay, so pick her up at six Alex, but her bodyguard has to go with her, back by eleven.” Demitri stands and walks out, me and Calix stare at each other. 

“He just agreed?” Alex looks at us confused. I want to say no, but Demitri agrees so I nod and stand. 

“Home cub, get ready for your date.” I pull her up with me. 

“Really?” She looks between us confused. 

“Really, home, get ready for your date and Alex will be there at six, right?” I look at him and he nods, even though he thinks it is a trick. I don’t blame him, I need to know why the hell Demitri agreed! 

“See you tonight.” Alex smiles and rushes out. 

“Home with Troy cub, we will see you there.” I watch her leave with him.
