Whether she was Leo’s wife or not, he has a fiancee now. He takes them to the company. There are a lot of Tracy’s spies in the company. Claire thinks she’ll be in trouble for some time to come!
Tracy is sure to come and embarrass her when she knows it. No matter how she explains it, she can’t explain why Conan looks like them. Claire has a headache at the thought of what might happen.
They reach the floor where they work. Claire finally doesn’t have to put up with the surprise of the employees.
Claire has Conan stay with her and not go anywhere. Leo looks at Claire’s small Secretary Desk and says to Conan, “Conan, come to my office. It’s spacious and comfortable and it has food.”
“Really? Great!” In order not to be around Claire and not to be blamed by her, Conan quickly smiles happily.
“Come here.” Leo smiles and waves to Conan, but Claire stops him.
“Leo! Enough. Is he my son or your son? How can you care more about him than I do!” Claire says discontentedly.
Conan looks back and forth between Leo and Claire. He thinks I’m the son of both of you. Don’t argue.
Leo chuckles and jokes, “if I can, I’d like him to be my son.”
You’ll be mine then.
Claire glances at him. He is shameless!
“Conan, come here.” Claire stares at Conan and threatens him with her eyes.
She can’t control Leo, but can’t she control Conan?
Conan hesitates. To be honest, he really doesn’t want to go there.
Conan looks reluctant. Claire says angrily, “don’t you listen to me?”
Maybe Conan thinks that he has done a lot of pranks recently and always makes Mommy angry. At last Conan wants to go to Claire.
However, as soon as he takes a step, Leo holds his hand.
Conan looks up at his daddy in surprise. Leo assures him and says seriously to Claire, “I’m going to take him into my office. This is the boss’s order. If you feel bored outside, you can work in my office.”
With that, Leo takes Conan and walks into the office without looking back.
“Leo!” Claire stands up angrily from her position and roars at Leo’s back. Leo doesn’t care about her at all. He walks into the office without looking back and closes the door.
Claire stares at the door and is very angry. Conan and Leo ignore her! They are both domineering and playful. She’s going to be pissed off by them!
Does she still have a place?
“OK, you can do whatever you want. Continue to have lunch. Leave me alone!” Claire shouts.
Leo and Conan look triumphant. They were bored in the office, so they bet who can get rid of Claire’s anger first. It seems that they both won at the same time.
Claire knows she is being teased again. She can’t help but heave a sigh.
What did she do wrong?
They have lunch in harmony. But by this time, the storm has gradually hit the three of them.
When they get back to the company, Claire get used to their bad character. She treats them completely as air and lets them do whatever they want.
Whenever there is a disagreement, Claire chooses to shut up. Because she knows they will tease her together.
Claire feels that her place in Conan’s heart has changed. She has a hard time raising him, but she is not as good as a daddy he has been with for two days.
She’s so sad.
The three of them return to the company. There is something strange about the faces of the employees. They seem to be sympathizing or gloating.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
