Claire certainly knows who that person is, but even if she tells Luke now, the company’s crisis will not disappear and it will be more complicated. Claire doesn’t tell the truth.
“At present, the company has not received liquidated damages but has to delay the construction period of all projects. In this way, we have to pay a lot of liquidated damages. After all, we can’t find reliable suppliers in the short term. Advertising planning can not be done in the short term.”
It’s serious enough to destroy Howard Group.
“Now that Howard Group is in crisis, Wilson Group can’t ignore it. After all, they are politically married.”
Conan is uncomfortable with it, but it’s true. And he thinks it happened after Leo lost his memory, so it doesn’t count.
Luke hears Conan and gets more upset.
“They stand by and even add fuel to the fire when the company is in crisis.” Luke looks resentful.
“What? You mean...”
Luke nods and says, “instead of helping, they took part of the money from Howard Group.”
“How can they do that? Does Wilson Group want to watch Howard Group fall? It’s about their interests.” Claire can’t understand.
Luke spreads out his hands and says helplessly, “Tracy must have done it.”
Claire now regrets saying that to Tracy. If she encumbers Howard Group, she will only feel more guilty.
“What shall we do now?”
Luke shakes his head. He can’t think of a way. Before that, he tried to contact Wilson Group, but they don’t agree to meet him.
Then Luke’s cell phone suddenly rings. When he takes out his cell phone and sees the name of the call, he frowns.
Maybe something happens to the company.
Luke answers the phone and throws it on the table. He falls on the sofa with his head in his arms.
“I wish Leo can wake up right now. He will have a way.”
It seems Luke is desperate.
“What happened?” Claire asks anxiously.
“There are several projects that must be operated today, but after this incident, Party A of Howard Group has begun to urge. They didn’t dare to do that when Leo was there.”
Luke says angrily, “they heard that Leo is seriously ill, so they begin to find fault. You know Leo’s approach. He usually oppresses them, so they are venting now.”
Luke tries to stand up and tidy up his suit. He perks up and says, “I have to deal with these people anyway. Please take care of Leo.”
Seeing Luke’s almost unsteady figure disappear, Claire is also in despair.
She picks up her cell phone and calls Juan directly. Although she knows it is no use begging, she wants to try.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
