The madam bursts out laughing. She puts her hand on Claire’s shoulder and says in a strange voice, “Oh, Miss Bennett, you’re smart. You figured it out so quickly. Well, hurry up and get dressed!”
Claire is stunned. She asks, “Get dressed? Do you mean to start tonight?”
“Beautiful women like Miss Bennett can charm men just by changing their clothes.” The madam says as she pulls Claire out.
She takes Claire to a dressing room and roughly opens the door. She points to a group of dancers who are making up inside and says, “Get out of here, all of you. Miss Bennett is going to make up here.”
The dancers are used to it. They don’t care and go out with their butts twisted.
“I’ll make up for you myself today. Every new girl here is dressed up by me. I promise you’ll be able to charm those men later.” There is excitement on the madam’s face.
Claire nods.
The madam is relieved to see Claire is very clever. She pushes her into the bathroom while she keeps watch outside.
After Claire goes in, she has to wash her whole body thoroughly, and then she is forced to change into the clothes of a nightclub princess.
She is wearing a black miniskirt, a white halter and stiletto heels. Her fingernails are painted with bright red nail polish by the madam. Her straight and fair legs are set off more sexy.
The madam looks at her with satisfaction. She keeps praising her, "I’ll make up for you. I promise you’ll be the star of the club tonight.”
Claire doesn’t dare to react in any way. She is afraid of being detected so she keeps pretending to smile.
Finally, the makeup is over!
Claire looks at herself in the mirror. She is a hot and sexy beauty in the mirror. She has to admit that the make-up technique of the madam is good. It’s just that she’s nervous and doesn’t have time to appreciate her make-up.
Thinking that she will be a princess later, Claire is so nervous that she shivers.
The madam obviously finds out, too. She looks down and says, “what’s the matter, Miss Bennett? Are you dissatisfied?”
Claire reluctantly smiles. “I get nervous with a lot of people.” Then she turns to see the mobile phone that the Madam puts on the dresser.
Before she speaks, Claire says quickly, “I’m so nervous. Can you bring some red wine? I want to calm down. Otherwise, I will not perform well.”
The madam hesitates for a moment and says, “wait a minute.”
Then the madam goes out with a bunch of keys, and she even locks the door before she leaves.
Claire is speechless. She takes the madam’s cell phone and looks at the door. Although the door is locked, it is made of printed glass.
Thinking of this, Claire immediately raises a chair and smashes it violently. The printed glass breaks and Claire hurries out of the hole.
The madam at the corner hears the sound and turns back.
Claire is shocked. She has to turn around and runs to the other side, only to find a public toilet at the end of the road.
Claire rushes into a cubicle and locks the door. She takes the cell phone and wants to make a call, but she doesn’t know who to call.
After thinking for a while, she thinks maybe only Bryce can help her.
There are footsteps and the shouting and swearing of the madam outside. Claire makes a lot of calls in the extremely nervous mood, but they are all wrong.
“Hello.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
