Girl Get Rid Of That Jerk (Williams and Shawn) novel Chapter 119

Shawn got out of his car and flicked away the last of his cigarette, but instead of calming him down, it only seemed to crank up the frustration simmering inside him. He hopped into his car again and headed back to the hotel.

As he swung open the door to his room, he yanked at his tie, frustration etched on his face. He tossed his jacket onto the hook behind the door and glanced up, only to freeze in his tracks.

Right smack in the middle of the room, sprawled across the big bed, was Kate. She was draped in a black lace slip dress, her body lounging seductively on the sheets.

"Shawn, you're back," she purred, her voice as smooth as silk, eyes pulling him in like a magnet.

The scene was a temptation he could feel in his bones, heat rushing through him as his mind filled with chaos. Despite the whirlwind inside, he tried to keep his cool, though his face showed his annoyance. "What are you doing here?"

Kate's eyes were pure mischief. "I was waiting for you."

"Get out!" Shawn's voice was cold. His brow knotted in irritation.

"No," she replied, her voice dripping with allure.

She got up with a graceful sway and sauntered over, grabbing his tie with a flirtatious grin. Her breath felt warm against his ear. "Shawn, I'm staying with you tonight."

Shawn tried to push Kate away,

but she held fast, pulling him down into a kiss.

He let out a low groan, not putting up a fight.

The room's atmosphere heated up quickly.

Shawn switched gears, going from defensive to offensive, sweeping Kate up and tossing her onto the bed with a rough edge to his movements.

The night was a whirlwind of passion and indulgence.

The next morning, Shawn woke up naturally, and the sight of Kate's face so close jolted him awake.

He bolted upright, his voice sharp with anger. "What are you doing here?"
