Girl Get Rid Of That Jerk (Williams and Shawn) novel Chapter 186

The Cullinan glided up to the entrance, and the security guard waved it through without a second thought. The top brass had made sure they memorized the license plates of the Fisher, Owens, and Hartley families’ frequently used cars, and Joshua's Cullinan was on that list.

The car cruised effortlessly through the estate and came to a halt right in front of the main castle building. While other guests had to settle for the underground garage, the Owens, Fisher, and Hartley families got the VIP treatment, parking right at the castle's doorstep.

As soon as the driver brought the car to a stop, Joshua swung the door open, and there stood the estate's butler, bowing politely. Joshua offered his hand to Allison, who took it with a graceful smile as she stepped out.

The castle doors stood wide open, with a red carpet rolling out from the entrance, stretching endlessly into the grand hall. On either side, rows of uniformed servants bowed and greeted in chorus, "Good evening, Sir! Good evening, Ma’am!"

With her arm looped through Joshua's, Allison made her way down the red carpet into the castle. The ballroom on the first floor was a spectacle, designed to rival the opulence of Vienna's Schönbrunn Palace. Lavish decorations adorned the space, with massive crystal chandeliers overhead and Renaissance frescoes lining the walls, making guests feel like they had stepped into a royal palace. This ballroom was, without a doubt, as grand, if not grander, than Schönbrunn's.

Soft music from a live band floated through the hall, as guests mixed, mingled, and clinked glasses. The moment Allison and Joshua made their entrance, they became the center of attention.

The crowd instinctively parted to let them through, and the pair walked hand in hand into the ballroom, embodying the elegance and grace of a royal couple.
