Chapter 157 Don’t Force Me to Hate You

Samara felt that she didn’t have to greet Chaim. She did not hate him now, but she still held a grudge against him.

Now that she saw Chaim, she could still hold back her feelings and turn a blind eye to him. Samara felt that she had already cut

him some slack.

However, although she thought this way, it did not mean that Chaim thought so too.

Seeing Chaim approaching her, Samara subconsciously frowned. “Mr. Humphrey, you’d better not come over. I don’t want to hear anything about the love affair between you and me anymore.”

When Samara said this, there was no smile on her face, and only coldness was left in her eyes.

When Chaim looked over, he even saw a trace of imperceptible impatience flash through Samara’s eyes.

That trace of impatience, like a sharp blade, crashed his suppressed emotions. He immediately broke down.

“You’re with Roland?”

Samara looked at him and frowned slightly. “What does this have to do with you?”

Chaim was rendered speechless. Samara had never been so aggressive to him. He only felt furious. His anger was mixed with unrecognizable feelings, which made him rather vexed.

He thought of the painting that Gloria had taken out. When Chaim saw Samara’s cold eyes, his expression became stiff and cold. “Don’t you like me very much, Samara?”

Samara was finally stunned for a moment. She did not expect that one day, her love would become a sharp knife Chaim used to

stab her.

When she opened her eyes again, there was no anger in her eyes but coldness. “People make mistakes when they are young. I was young, so I made a mistake. I did like you before, but it doesn’t mean that I still like you now.”

She paused for a moment. “I planned to give you that painting as a birthday present four years ago. Since you found it, you can keep it then. But…

“I didn’t mean to let you use it to humiliate me!”

She looked at him and said word by word.

After saying that, Samara glanced at Roland, who had already helped her pick up her phone. Then, she walked to him.

However, when she walked past Chaim, Samara stopped and looked up at him. “Chaim, don’t force me to hate you.”

She did not want to hate anyone. It was not worth it.
