Chapter 268 Will You Still Marry Him?
Half an hour later, the takeout was delivered.
Samara placed the bag on the dining table and turned to look at Roland, who was on the sofa.
Roland slept quite soundly. Even the doorbell did not wake him up.
Samara raised her eyebrows and walked to the sofa. “Mr. Garza?”
Roland didn’t have any reaction.
Seeing this, Samara walked around the sofa and walked directly to the front. She raised her hand and gently pushed Roland’s
shoulder. “Roland?”
Just as Samara’s voice faded, a pair of hands held her waist, and Samara didn’t react in time.
The next second, Samara was directly pressed into Roland’s arms.
Samara moved her hands to support her body. Through the thin blanket and Roland’s shirt, Samara could clearly feel Roland’s body temperature.
Samara subconsciously pulled her hands back. But without the support of her hand, she directly leaned on Roland.
Roland, who had just woken up, looked at Samara in a daze. He still looked a little sleepy, and his voice was a little hoarse. “Sorry. I thought it was a dream.”
As Roland spoke, he released his hands and rubbed his temples.
Samara stood up from the sofa and took two steps back. She cleared her throat and said, “The takeout is here.”
“OK.”
Samara was surprised to see that Roland was so gentle when he had just woken up.
Samara glanced at Roland, turned around, and walked to the dining table.
Just as Samara picked up a food bag, Roland, who was behind her, took the bag over.
“Just leave it to me.”
Roland untied the knot of the bag and said, “You don’t need to do these trifles.”
Samara smiled slightly and asked, “Are you so considerate to every lady?”
Hearing Samara’s words, Roland raised his head and looked at her. “Will you believe me if I say no?”
The smile in Roland’s eyes lessened a bit when he looked at Samara. Roland’s seriousness made Samara dare not answer.
Samara curved her lips and did not answer Roland’s question. Then, she took the seafood soup from Roland’s hand.
Roland raised his eyebrows and didn’t continue to ask.
Neither of them spoke again, and the room was in silence now.
