Go Away, I'm a Billionairess Now (Samara and Chaim) novel Chapter 292

Chapter 292 I Can’t Afford It

Hearing Samara’s words, Chaim froze for a moment and looked at the mocking smile in Samara’s eyes. When Samara looked at him, there was no longer any gentleness or light in her eyes.

“No.” Chaim felt as if his heart had been stabbed.

“Oh, then what do you want to talk about?”

Chaim’s eyes flickered. He lowered his head slightly and looked at Samara’s left ring finger.

He remembered that when they had just divorced, there was a ring mark on Samara’s ring finger. However, almost a year had passed, her finger was smooth and fair, and there was no trace of a wedding ring on it.

This made Chaim feel heartbroken. “I want to say sorry to you.”

He retracted his gaze and looked at Samara.

Hearing his words, Samara smiled, “No need. I can’t afford your apology.”

The phone in her bag vibrated several times. Samara took out her phone and saw several messages sent by Gisselle. She did not check them, but she had lost her patience. “If there is nothing else, I have to go back.”

“Don’t you want to know who drugged you that night?”

Samara looked at Chaim and smiled, “Since you can’t even find it out, how can I?”

After the thing happened, Samara asked someone to help investigate, but there were no clues. So she couldn’t find out who drugged her.

Samara was just a college student who had just graduated at that time. Besides being beautiful, she couldn’t find other reasons why she was drugged on such an occasion.

Chaim looked at Samara’s back. His eyes darkened. “Samara.”

Hearing Chaim’s voice, Samara stopped but she did not turn around.

She didn’t lie to Chaim. She had called a taxi, and it was almost here.

“Do you really have no feelings for me now?”

Samara was stunned for a moment. She did not expect that the cold and aloof Chaim would ask such a question.

Samara curled her lips and sneered. She turned to look at him. “We are divorced. Isn’t it normal for me to not like you?”

Samara looked at him. They were a few feet apart. In the dim light, Chaim could see the smile in Samara’s eyes, but that smile was not sincere.
