Chapter 77
Willow
“I…I am really sorry, but today we brought the children on a field trip, and Wyatt and Lori have disappeared!”
As soon as she said that, I slammed my foot on the brake in shock and practically screamed into the phone, “What the hell do you mean they disappeared?!”
“Honestly, I don’t have a clue. They were with us the entire time, but now they are nowhere to be found,” she explained in a panic.
My heart dropped into my stomach, and my brain went blank for a second. My children had gone missing! Where could they be? “When and where was the last time you saw them?” I growled impatiently, immediately pleasing my foot down on the accelerator of the car.
The teacher explained the address on the way to me. I hung up the phone and sped off in my car. I had to find them as soon as possible.
I stretched out my hand, thinking about calling Reuben then remembered that no electronic devices were allowed in the palace. Frustrated, I could only focus on keeping my speeding car on the road, but soon negative thoughts began to dominate my mind. What if something happened to my children?
That’s when my phone rang again, this time from an unknown number. I was confused for a second but I picked it up quickly.
Could
“Hello,” a heavy and deep manly voice came from the other side of the phone, freezing me for a moment. The dominance in the voice was so clear that I tell the man was an Alpha. For some reason, Ceri paused in my mind when the man’s voice entered our ears. “Am I talking to Wyatt and Lori’s mother?” the man questioned.
As soon as he mentioned my children’s names, my ears perked up. “Yes, that’s me,” I responded quickly, my heart pounding with worry.
“Your children are with me. It seems they have gotten lost,” he explained.
My heartbeat quickened in panic. “Please, tell me where are you? I will come and get them!”
The man was silent for a couple of seconds, causing my muscles to tense for some reason. Until he told me the address.

“Alright, I will be there in fifteen minutes. Please wait for me,” I impatiently requested.
A faint sound came from the other side. I had the feeling that he smiled before he replied, “Of course, I have been waiting for you…”
His
response was strange, and my hand holding the phone shook abruptly. What did he mean? I couldn’t care less about anything as I hung up the phone and swiftly turned my car. Exactly thirteen minutes later, I reached the location, which to my surprise was a children’s park. How had the children ended up here? As soon as I stepped in, I caught my children’s scent in the air and following it, I found them on the swings.
“Wyatt! Lori!” I called out, running towards them. I could no longer stay calm.
“Mommy!” they both exclaimed, jumping from the swings and racing to me. I immediately pulled both of them into a tight hug.
“Thank goodness you two are safe,” I said, kissing both of their faces. My heart was pounding out of panicked fear, but having them back in my arms I felt reassured that my children were safe and sound.
“Mommy…”
“Why are you two here? Mommy was so scared!” I looked down at the two of them, holding each of their hands.
“I saw a kitty and followed it,” Lori blinked her big watery eyes. “But I got lost. Brother had followed me so he got lost with me,” she explained, biting her lip close to breaking into tears.
I pressed my lips together at the sight of the guilty in both of my children’s eyes and my heart melted. “It’s okay, just promise me you will not do it again.”
“I promise,” they both nodded. I gently caressed their heads, not wanting to scare them when they already knew they had made a mistake. I could not help but hug them again before asking.
“Where is the man that called me?” I questioned, looking around but not finding anyone there.
“That uncle has been standing behind you the whole time,” Wyatt pointed behind
me.
I stared at him in surprise. That man was standing behind me the whole time?

Why did I not feel his presence?! Standing up in alarm, I turned around only to bump into his hard chest and lose my balance. My feet got twisted up beneath me, I was about to fall on the ground before a strong arm wrapped around my waist, suspending me in mid air.
Startled, I grabbed the man’s silky black coat and looked up. The extremely handsome face of a man

“You are here, Willow…” a handsome smile that would steal any woman’s heart played on his lips, but I was not sure why it set terror in my heart. My wolf vanished from my head, throwing me into the pit of unknown fear within me.
I immediately pulled away from him and took a few steps away from his imposing figure that was well over 6 feet tall. As I had ripped myself away from him, I felt Ceri in my mind once again. Clad in black and adorned with a rare diamond ring on his finger he omitted an extremely rich aura that no other wolf could possess.
My legs automatically stepped back from him as my mind screamed to run away from him. But why? Why was I feeling this way when I didn’t even know the man? His eyes… Why were they scaring me? Why was his mere presence provoking a hidden fear that I didn’t even know that existed? Why was he… coming closer to
me?
The most strange thing was… why was he looking at me the way Reuben always did?
My heart grew so terrified from the look in his eyes that I took a few more steps back from him due to his advances only to stop when Wyatt and Lori held my
hands.
“Mommy, this is the uncle who helped us call you,” Wyatt stated.
I paused and studied the man. He also paused and looked at Wyatt and Lori, “Who is their father?” He suddenly asked me, his expression took a one eighty degree
turn.
“What?” I co ck ed my brows. Why did he want to know about my children’s father?
That was when he grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to his chest, “I asked who is that man that f cked these dirty little seeds into your womb?”
“What are you doing?!” I screamed in panicked fear. Did he… did he just call my

children dirty little seeds? “Let me go!” I shrieked, struggling in his hold then his eyes landed on my mark on my neck and his eyes turned red.
“You let another man mark you too!” he growled, grabbing my throat and slammed me into a nearby tree, only to move dangerously closer to my lips. I stared at me with tearful eyes as he whispered, “You have had enough fun. It’s time to return home, Rose,” he whispered an inch away from my lips.
My eyes widened when he called me by the name those rogues had been calling me. “Who are… you?”
As I asked him, the corner of his lips lifted in a insane smile, “Dark,”
“Dark?” my heart stopped in my chest and my eyes grew larger. The man standing in front of me was… Dark? Dark… existed? “Who are you?” I could not help but ask
him.
“Me?” he loosened his grip on my neck and grabbed my hand, “Your mate,” he replied, dragging me away,
“My mate?” my mind went blank and my body swayed when he began mercilessly drugging me by my hand.
“Mommy…” When Wyatt and Lori’s panicking screams entered my ears, I came back to my senses.
“No… what are you doing? Let me go!” I yelled at the man, glancing back at Wyatt and Lori. They were chasing after me but just as they were a hand’s breadth away from me, the man glared back at both of them just to make them faint right there and then with a single look.
“NO!” I screamed in fear, desperately looking over at my children as I struggled to break free from his grip. “What did you do to them?! Why did they faint?!” I continuously hit him with my fists. He took a quick peek at me before dragging me even more violently.
“NOOO… MY CHILDREN!! LET ME GO!! LET ME” I screamed at the top of my lungs, pulling myself away and trying to break free with all might. However, he was indescribably stronger and my scratches and hits did not affect him at all. The distance between my children and I grew and he refused to let me go-no matter how much I screamed.
“Let go of me, you MONSTER!!!” I screamed, biting his hand hard making him bleed.
Chapter 77
He let my arm go with a glare only to slap me hard across the face. His slap was so forceful that I was immediately knocked to the ground as my head spun in pain. “Daring to call me, your mate a monster? You were not such a bad girl before,” he stated as I looked at him standing beside me with blurred vision. “It seems I have to educate you a little about the state of things right here,” he stated, unbuttoning his pants.
My heartbeat intensified in fear as I sensed his intentions. “No… No…” I forced my body to move away from him but he grabbed my leg and yanked me closer to him before he started tearing at my clothes.
“NO! DON’T TOUCH ME!!” I fought back, trying to push his hands away from me but he pinned both of my hands above my head. I cried, wriggled, and shrieked but could not stop him from stripping me naked.
“HOW DARE YOU GIVE YOUR VIRGINITY TO OTHER MAN?!” he growled, forcefully spreading my legs.
“Don’t…” I screamed, my eyes peering up at the monster who was going to rape me. “LET ME GO!! LET ME…
“SHHH…” he pressed his hand over my mouth whispering, “I will ram into you raw and dry if you ask me to let you go again,” he growled, his mismatched eyes pinning me to the ground in horror as the next I felt something hard and hot touch on my pu ssy. I panicked, once again struggling in his hold. I could not let him ruin me. I could not let him… but I could not move my body at all. I could not even make a sound. Hot tears rolled down my cheeks as I felt him close to entering me. Once again I had lost contact with Ceri in my mind, I tightly closed my eyes as tears slipped through along with my scream as I mind-linked him,” REUBEN…”
