Goodbye You Never Loved Me novel (Martha and Stefan) novel Chapter 1030

Chapter 1030 Truth (14)

Last night, the little girl didn't look like this.

As Elliot was lost in thought, Sean let out a haughty "hmph" and turned his gaze away.

He began openly scanning the office with his nanotech invisibility glasses, wanting to see if his scumbag father had really put the important evidence in the office.

Soon enough, his eyes fell on a wall.

The nanoglasses easily penetrated through it and revealed what was inside.

Behind the wall was a safe, and in its center lay something that looked like surveillance footage!

Sean couldn't help but feel genuine admiration for Khalil's skills deep down inside him. Khalil's technology was just so good!

Today's visit wasn't in vain after all!

The surveillance footage that Mommy had been looking for all along was right here. He could tell her that when he got back so she wouldn't have to keep staying at that scumbag's house anymore.

Meanwhile, Elliot sitting across from him noticed Sean's gaze constantly falling on the wall behind him. He reached out with his long fingers and lightly tapped on the desk.

The next second, his gentle voice echoed throughout the office and interrupted Sean's sense of accomplishment:

"How are you feeling today?"

Sean gave Scumbag Dad a cold glance before coolly spitting out two words. "Not bad."

"Well then, since you're feeling good today, how about you pass the second level for me?" Elliot continued as he cast a fleeting glance towards his assistant standing by his side.

The assistant received Mr. Harper's signal and quickly walked over to pick up the phone from the desk before unlocking it and handing it over to the little girl sitting on the couch.

Sean gave one last disdainful look at the assistant before taking hold of the phone himself.

He lowered his head to start playing kart racing games while trying not to let his scumbag dad think less of him even though he wasn't Leah herself...

Besides, if he didn't pass this level, there might be trouble brewing soon enough...

So, he started playing kart racing games seriously with all of his attention focused solely onto winning the game...
