Chapter 488 

During the piecing together, Jared had a hunch. But when he saw the full ultrasound report, saw the little life inside that picture, his hands were uncontrollably shaking 

Agnes was pregnant, for real. This was their child. In that moment, he felt like bawling his eyes out. 

From a young age, Jared always seemed older than his years to others. He was like a lofty figure, observing the crowd with profound eyes. His emotions weren’t as intense as others. There seemed to be very few things in the world that could excite, shock, or hurt him. He thought he was in for a dull ride in life.

reason to do so.. 

He had never experienced that feeling in his life, that euphoria that felt like being on cloud nine. 

He was just waiting to find Agnes, waiting to start a new chapter, waiting for everything to start anew. 

But after that night, Agnes vanished into thin air. She was gone without a trace. 

During that time, he tried everything. He even checked all the flight schedules. But he couldn’t find any trace of Agnes. He had searched the entire city, but Agnes 

was gone. 

One month, two months, three months, four months… and theh one year, two years, three years… Now it’s been four years. 

Jared didn’t know how he made it through these four years. All he knew was that his heart had grown numb with pain. 

He poured all his time and energy into his work. Half of his job was searching for Agnes. Over the past four years, he built a vast information network. But until now, there was still no news of Agnes. 

Sometimes, Jared really doubted. How could a person just vanish without a trace? The world was too big, so big it made him feel desperate.
