The moment the elevator doors opened, Leo said, “Mr. Whitfield is in a meeting, Ms. Pritchard. You can wait for him in the lounge.” Agnes nodded her head. 

She waited in the lounge for a long time. 

Although someone brought her coffee, she still didn’t see Jared. 

Agnes waited for three hours, until it was past lunchtime. 

Leo had come by a few times before, but now he was also gone. 

When she asked about Jared, the other secretaries all said that the boss was still in a meeting
